Job Overview The Supply Chain Contract Analyst will independently perform procurement and supplier management functions to support system-wide agreements, capital spend management, corporate operations and various activities related to contract management. The position supports analytics, negotiating and develops corporate level agreements for equipment, recommends products and/or services and the development of corporate-level contracts. In addition, this position will secure competitive bids for required capital equipment under Shriners Children's policies. The Contract Analyst will support and recommend the business review of contracts, communication with vendors and hospital staff, coordinate and make recommendation for legal review, and is responsible for contract retention and file management. Duties include: preparation and solicitation of Requests for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI); analyze and evaluate supplier quotes and proposals; prepare documentation and selection packages for approval; and manage the effective implementation of system-wide agreements. The Contract Analyst will support the capital management and equipment sourcing process as well as be an intricate part of the Value Analysis process. The Contract Analyst will assist the Value Analysis Chair in facilitating the Value Analysis Teams (VAT). The position is also responsible for maintaining the adherence to purchasing and contract guidelines and may include the development and solicitation of Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposal (RFP) to prospective suppliers for bid on services and materials. The Contract Analyst will gathering data to support corporate metrics, analytic and exercise discretion and independent judgment to make decision and recommendations. This is a hybrid role located in the Greater Tampa Bay area, requiring in-office work one day per week. Additional onsite work may be required as needed for business purposes, such as meetings or special projects. Responsibilities * Analyze and evaluate supplier quotes, proposals, contracts and assist in the development of agreement terms and conditions to achieve best value for Shriners Children's on capital purchases. * Provide support and makes recommendation to Legal, IS and Compliance through contracts and BAA * Analyze, negotiate, redline and recommends contract terms and conditions and advise SCM staff on how to best utilize the service for Shriners Children's. * Administer processing of bids, prepares documentation packages including summary of proposals, analysis of responses, cost and recommendations for selection for RFP/RFI. * Analyze purchase trends and makes recommendations to the SCM * Make judgment decisions to the capital spend management system and Capital Equipment and recommends capital equipment to achieve the best value for Shriners Children's. * Contribute to and support ongoing efforts to identify, recommend and implement new systems or processes that add end-user value, goals and metrics, enhance the procurement process and improve customer satisfaction This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. Job Overview The O&P Technician II independently fabricates orthotic and prosthetic devices, including highly technical devices, with direction and guidance from other technicians and practitioners. The Technician II does so quickly and efficiently with limited supervision. He or she also repairs prostheses as required. Other responsibilities are to maintain inventories and fabricating devices with enough lead time to meet the set delivery date for each device. Also, to assist practitioners with casting and fitting as requested by the practitioner. Up-to-date fab tracking in OPIE is required. Responsibilities * Independently demonstrates the knowledge and technical skills to correctly fabricate orthotic/prosthetic devices. * Independently fabricates and accurately repairs neat appearing and structurally sound standard and highly technical prosthetic or orthotic devices utilizing optimum time management and cost savings techniques in fabrication. * Ensures devices are fabricated within deadlines. * Ensures cosmetics of orthosis/prosthesis alignment of joints and appropriateness trim lines are satisfactory to practitioner and patient. * Makes certain final product is smooth, uniform in thickness when indicated, and conforms to model. Uses componentry and materials selected appropriately for patient height, weight and activity level. * Follows product manufacturer's guidelines. * Follows specifications on work orders. * Communicates effectively with practitioner regarding devices. * Provides guidance to technicians in all areas of fabrication as needed. * Serves as a resource for the development or creation of innovation design and fabrication of devices. * Maintains accurate documentation in Fab Tracker. * Modifies casts and/or prepares drawings for fabrication independently. * Prioritizes work for fabrication sequence. * Supervises and assists technicians as needed. * Provides orthoses/prostheses in reasonable amount of time according to department general guidelines or time constraints as requested by physicians. * Completes department-specific and hospital-wide safety requirements. * Complies with safety programs. * Maintains clean, safe, clutter-free and orderly environment. * Maintains and cleans equipment in the O&P laboratory. * Wears appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working in all phases of fabrication and repair of O&P devices. * Utilizes proper equipment and departmental safety precautions and equipment to reduce fumes and dust whenever possible. * Takes leadership role in maintenance and repair of all laboratory equipment. Assign new estates/trusts to appropriate attorney including electronically assigning a new file number, the donor's name and responsible person's name to the Practice Manager database.
