Job description and primary responsibilities
Assembles mattresses using established work instructions
Assembles mattress units per established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns) according to quality standard requirements
This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (Bolsa), Bonnells, foam encased and foam product types; application of various, specified upholstered layers to the unit in the correct order based on specifications.
Asides finished assembled unit to the next process step.
Achieve production expectation according to the training schedule.
Inspects mattress components and finished units for acceptable flaws or structural defects
Performs all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintains workstation in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
Performs all other duties as assigned by management
