Amentum is seeking an HVACR Mechanic for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The HVACR Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of HVACR equipment and systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. Essential Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repair of HVACR systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within HVACR systems and implement timely repairs.
Supervise and train junior staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Education and Certification: High school diploma (or GED equivalent), technical school, or trade school graduate, or equivalent apprenticeship. Formal training in stationary engineering is required.
Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in the HVACR trades, including two (2) years or more in a supervisory role.
Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a Universal CFC refrigerant handling license and be qualified/certified as an HVACR mechanic in a CONUS jurisdiction.
Technical Expertise: Thorough knowledge of refrigeration and HVACR systems, ability to read blueprints, and perform material take-offs.
Safety and Codes: A record of safe operations and working knowledge of safety standards for mechanical systems, including building and safety codes.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Security Clearance: Required clearances are site-driven. Must possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and obtain the appropriate clearance within eight (8) months of contract award.

Keep GSE shop and its equipment always clean and serviceable, report all deficiencies to management
Fuel equipment as necessary with full regard for all safety and environmental requirements

Work as a self-starter and report to shop leads daily

Skill in problem solving to select, organize and logically process relevant information (verbal, numerical or abstract) to solve a problem.
