Morning tasks:

Top off and load needed survey supplies (Lath, paint, flagging spikes, red/white flags, posts & any other necessities)
Ensure the company vehicle is clean and ready to go for the day
Throughout the day:
Be prepared to drive to and from the job site
Set up and tear down GPS base, carry all the supplies in a lath bag, backpack or belt
Make sure to have enough water and anything else you may need throughout the day. (Always plan on being gone for most of the day.)
End of the work day:
Unload and put away equipment.
Charge batteries
Check with Crew Chief before going home.
Weekly Tasks:
Monday's time is due for the previous week worked; enter time
Friday's should be a day to clean equipment. (Unload and wipe down GPS, wash trucks, and clean office, bathrooms and shop areas.) Check with all Crew Chiefs to see if there is anything needing to be done.
Education: High School Diploma / GED Knowledge: 6+ months experience as a Surveying Assistant (Preferred) Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Additional: Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 75 lbs.
