Serve as a liaison and channel of communication between the Board, including its committees, management, and clinical staff, and the total staff/community.
Establish and maintain relationships with other healthcare institutions and providers, national/state/local organizations, and other community agencies, building collaborations to expand services to the underserved and uninsured. The CEO is also responsible for governmental relations, both administrative and elected.
Manage and maintain knowledge of current requirements of federal, state, and local policies and procedures, as well as those of accreditation.
Provide leadership in shaping the annual operating plan, programs of Mallory CHC, and the organization's long-term strategy. Assess progress and suggest revisions in strategic direction.
Direct marketing, promotion, and public relations.
Develop, prepare, and oversee grant applications, fundraising, and capital campaigns.

Coordinate and prepare annual grant proposal to the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) and other funding agencies.
Assure preparation of analysis and interpretation of healthcare data to the Board.
Operational Management

Approve all terminations and consult with the attorney as needed.
Attend in-service and continuing education to maintain an elevated level of competency in operation

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Care Administration, or a related field

On a daily basis, with supervision and following safety procedures, he/she will use hand/power tools and rolling equipment to erect and anchor poles, set cross arms, string wire, install and connect capacitors, voltage regulators, transformer banks, arrestors, anchors and other system apparatus.
Periodically on scheduled stand-by and subject to be called out at any time to restore outages. Other infrequent responsibilities include attending training and safety workshops, tool maintenance, equipment and vehicle upkeep, stocking materials on vehicles, transporting equipment and materials to and from job sites and completing required paperwork.
WORK
ENVIRONMENT: Most activity is outside with constant exposure to various and sometimes extreme weather conditions and other outdoor elements (insects, offensive wildlife, thorny vegetation, pollen, poison ivy, etc.).
SKILL NEEDS: Interpersonal, mental and physical abilities needed to carry out these functions within allowed time constraints. The position requires climbing, bending, standing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting and sometimes carrying objects weighing up to 100 pounds over uneven terrain.
