This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys hands-on technical support, ensuring smooth installations, and driving continuous improvement in the data center system. **This position will be based in the Columbus, OH Area.** **You'll make an impact as you:** + Conduct pre-installation site visits to very proper storage conditions and environmental readiness before equipment arrival. Identify and communicate any potential risks or issues before commissioning to prevent costly rework and delays. + Lead efforts in the management and resolution of punch list items for large-scale data center installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. + Oversee the resolution of warranty-related issues, working with internal teams and external customers to provide timely solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. + Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to low and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including troubleshooting control circuits and electrical components. + Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of LV and MV equipment in data center projects, ensuring proper system integration and performance. + Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns related to punch lists, warranties, and technical issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with the customers and contractors through professional and timely support. + Provide valuable feedback to project and quality program managers based on field experience, contributing to process and product improvements. Participate in internal reviews to share lessons learned and drive long-term reliability. + Primarily support sites in either the Columbus, OH, Atlanta, GA, or Northern Virginia area with travel across the United States as needed (80%). Be available for emergency assignment and rapid response situations. + Maintain clear, thorough documentation of all warranty claims, technical issues, and punch list resolutions. Provide detailed reports on issue status and actions taken. **You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:** Basic Qualifications: + High School diploma or GED required. + 2+ years of experience in power distribution systems (low and medium voltage, 480V-38kV). + Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, including low and medium voltage Switchgear, breakers, and control circuits. + Strong working knowledge of power distribution systems, including testing, commissioning, and start-up procedures. + Ability to work independently in a field-based, hands-on environment, providing technical support and resolving complex issues. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting. + Must be available for emergency and relief assignments, as well as up to 80% travel for national site visits. + This position must be based remotely within the Columbus, OH, Atlanta, GA, or Northern Virginia area to support the geography of EA's business partners. + Individuals must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing and be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan. + Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
