Our processes include material handling, metal fabrication, painting, final assembly, and test. In this role you will lead all aspects of inventory control and material handling in the manufacturing areas. You'll make a difference by: * Improving inventory accuracy on the production floor and will lead all aspects of, manage, and coordinate daily materials handling and shipping activities to support our manufacturing lines * Promote a hazard-free, 5S-organized work environment through routine inspections, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. * Supervise hourly associates, manage staffing, provide training and performance feedback, and lead hiring, disciplinary actions, and motivation efforts. * Lead all aspects of accurate inventory across all areas via cycle counts, ERP data accuracy, and variance reporting; coordinate receiving, put-away, and material replenishment. * Collaborate with Planning, Production, ME, and supplier logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery and equipment readiness. * Improve continuous improvement through the use of LEAN tools, coordinate critical metrics such as efficiency and cycle times, and address operational challenges. * Utilize SAP for inventory and receiving activities; manage departmental budgets and purchase orders for inventoried materials.
