Responsible for leading the CLS Immunoassay Commercial Product Quality (CPQ) Team responsible for complaint handling, medical device reporting and Field Action activities for Atellica IM, Atellica CI and ADVIA Centaur assays. This role is responsible for developing and executing organizational strategies, processes, goals, and metrics that drive measurable improvements in complaint handling, product quality, and customer satisfaction. This role leads cross-functional initiatives to enhance the customer experience, reduce quality issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
This role is fully remote, preferably within US East Coast.
Responsibilities
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for post market topics, processes and tools.
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Drive product safety, product quality, and customer satisfaction related decisions, with appropriate authority (both data-based and risk-assessment-based decisions).
Establish short- and long-term goals to improve complaint resolution, product reliability, and customer satisfaction.
On time reporting of medical device reports.
Addressing FDA and other NCA concerns with product recalls to achieve the best outcome (regarding recall classification and where applicable, continued product availability).
Training and development of group members to satisfactorily complete their job activities and career aspirations.
Ensuring group members have product and regulatory knowledge to perform their jobs compliantly.
Driving continuous improvement and excellence in results for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus.
Developing and supporting digitalization strategies for CPQ
IVDR Plans and Reports for associated product lines

Experience:
Typically, 8+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above. Detailed understanding of FDA 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 803, 21 CFR 806, ISO 13485, MDSAP, and EU IVDR requirements.
Experience in Quality Systems, MDRs and Field Action recommended.
Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
Willing to travel 20%
Education:
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base pay range for this position is:
$172,690 - $237,446
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

* Perform on-site residential energy audits, including HVAC systems, insulation, lighting, appliances, and building envelope in accordance with program requirements.

Job Role:
Proactively perform specific periodic and preventative maintenance activities on Linear Accelerators and associated medical equipment outside of normal business hours per documented procedures.
Manage time and maintain a daily/weekly schedule to effectively perform preventative maintenance on systems throughout the service region.
Understand and recognize the need to escalate incidents when necessary and/or request additional assistance from more tenured representatives or leadership.
Maintain administrative duties, which includes timely completion and submission of field service work orders and expense reports along with management of consignment (parts) and other required documentation according to VMS procedures.
Communicate required follow up actions to primary assigned representative.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent time management and professional communication skills both internal to Varian and externally to customers.
Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships through utilization of strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Frequent use and application of technical documentation (both electronic and paper documents), standards, principles, concepts, and techniques in the field.
Basic knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. Familiar with basic operation of handheld test equipment used for verification/checkout of electronic equipment to include Digital Multimeter (DVM/DMM), and Digital Oscilloscope.
Basic technical experience with micro-computers/PC based systems.
Basic technical knowledge and experience with simple hand tools.
Maintain Vendor Credentialing status and compliance with both company and customer defined requirements necessary to gain customer site access, unless prohibited by law. These requirements vary by client and may include but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks, Drug screens, Immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, COVID-19), Annual TB testing, and other assigned training.
Minimum: HS Degree or Equivalent Preferred: Vocational training or military experience with electronics.

The base pay range for this position is:
$62,760 - $86,295
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to support DevSecOps platform infrastructure and operations for mission-critical government systems. This role provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support while learning site reliability engineering (SRE) practices in cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will support automation, observability, and troubleshooting in Azure Kubernetes environments while working alongside experienced platform engineers. Must be a US citizen and an active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities include:
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support for the platform, troubleshooting issues and performing O&M tasks to maintain system availability
Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and other observability tools, responding to incidents and alerts
Support automated DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes, troubleshooting pipeline issues under guidance from senior engineers
Assist with infrastructure deployment and maintenance using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and other IaC tooling
Support containerization strategies using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Work as part of an Agile development team to ensure infrastructure security and compliance with DoD requirements
Help implement automation and monitoring solutions for deployment pipeline health
Document incident responses, troubleshooting steps, and resolution procedures
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support platform capabilities

Technical Experience & Qualifications
Must be US Citizen
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or related field; recent graduates with relevant internships or coursework will be considered
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance (Required)
Cloud Platforms: Foundational knowledge of Azure cloud services; AWS experience is a plus
Basic Technical Skills: Exposure to Linux/Windows administration, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash), and version control (Git)
Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and container concepts; Kubernetes exposure preferred
CI/CD & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and interest in learning automation practices
Security Awareness: Understanding of basic security practices with willingness to learn DevSecOps and DoD compliance requirements

The base pay range for this position is:
$128,490 - $176,671
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is the primary contact for Varian Medical Systems (VMS) customer service and repair needs ensuring that our customers' equipment operates efficiently at all times. The Hardware FSR is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading and performing preventative maintenance on all designated VMS equipment according to instructions and company guidelines. Each FSR operates in a designated field service territory and represents VMS. This requires a high level of professional communication with their team, customers, management, sales, and other technical support.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all designated VMS equipment within an assigned service territory, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per VMS guidelines.
Manage time and maintain a schedule to include preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades as well as incoming customer calls demonstrating the ability to assess and prioritize the urgency of customer requests and follow-through to completion.
Understand and recognize the need to escalate incidents when necessary and/or request additional assistance from more tenured representatives.
Examine difficult customer issues, diagnose, and resolve the issues, and meet established FSR levels.
Maintain effective territory management and expense control which includes timely completion and submission of field service and expense reports along with management of consignment and other required documentation according to VMS procedures.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships using strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Frequent use and application of technical documentation, standards, principles, concepts, and techniques in the field.
Uses acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks.
Sound knowledge of and professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, testing equipment used for verification/checkout and calibration of electronic equipment.
Sound knowledge of and professional technical experience with micro-computers/PC based systems
Sound computer usage and debugging skills. Ability to identify and repair routine software and delivery system network problems.
Identify and resolve simple imaging system defects.
Performs routine maintenance, including major STBs.
Proficient at diagnosing and solving moderately complex mechanical problems, including simple vacuum leaks.
Able to perform vacuum system gun replacements and target replacements. Achieve certification status for C3 products.
Meets all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access, unless prohibited by law. These requirements vary by client and may include but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks Drug screens Immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus) Annual TB testing Healthcare trainings.
Minimum: HS Degree or Equivalent Preferred: Associate degree, technical /vocational training or military experience with electronics and 2 - 5 years of related experience
Other Desired Skills and Knowledge:
Able to handle difficult customer situations including troubleshooting while the customer is observing.
Is assigned as primary support for machine accounts for which certification has been completed.
Be able to understand and utilize the escalation process to Sr FSR, Management, NTS, PSE, Applications Required Certifications and Training: Has completed all required VMS training classes for C3 products Has completed VMS HW Level II and Imaging Level II certification testing.
Experience Level with Business Tools: Familiar with business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
