This position will stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials and supplies. Will also band/stack finished products. What you will do • Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up. • Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders. • Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside. • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials. • Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns. • Read shop drawings to understand stacking order when required. • Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed. • Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process. • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follows all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment. • Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance. • Assist in maintaining an organized work environment which may include emptying trash receptacles and keeping all bays/staging areas clean and organized. • Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment. • Monitor inventory as required by location management. • Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results. • Participate in and complete assigned trainings. Construction Site Organization Engage municipalities, utility companies, suppliers, contractors, and property owners to coordinate project tasks and avoid disputes. Receive maps and staking sheets and ensure construction project is built. Review, update, and assist with the recording of GIS, maps, addresses, and as-builds. Ensure locates are performed on time and prior to team and equipment arriving at the worksite. Set pedestals, vaults, and handholes along with marking/labeling fiber optic and/or copper facilities. Coordinate with Sr Outside Plant Construction Tech to ensure availability of materials and equipment. Perform the placement of new aerial and buried fiber according to maps, staking sheets, and locate markings. Construction Equipment Maintenance Service, clean, maintain, and repair equipment. Check DOT logs and review condition of trucks and trailers on job site to ensure all vehicles meet DOT standards. Report any issues to Sr Outside Plant Construction Tech. Complete all related paperwork in a timely manner. Assist Field Services technicians, as needed. The documentation will include technical details related to data updates, API calls, database structure, UI technologies (e.g. Angular), data flows, use cases, etc. · Work with internal customers and technology teams to gather and analyze internal product feedback. o Document and analyze product feedback for defects to be remediated and new functionality to be developed. · Collaborate with the Business leadership to assess, determine and document product development priorities. · Drive the delivery of valuable, usable and feasible solutions. o Understand complex systems, functionality, datasets, API services, data flows, etc. so that he/she can identify areas that need further investigation and definition to ensure that product development efforts will result in an effective product for the business. · Set the vision for product development and create product roadmaps. · Work with cross-functional teams to align efforts and evangelize the product strategy throughout the organization. o Communicate competently and confidently in meetings with the teams to gather requirements, elicit information on technical challenges and describe the current and future system functionality. · Partner with 3rd parties to extend product offerings. · Assist cross-functional groups with product launch activities including, but not limited to product demos, product training, and support processes. · Act as a scrum Product Owner in absence of a formal Product Owner. · Communicate the product strategy, roadmap, deliverables, performance, etc. to stakeholders and C-level employees within the organization. · Help define product KPIs and participate in the monitoring and reporting of the data. · Attend release sessions and provide Go/No-Go decision within the process. · Perform Business Analyst responsibilities in absence of an assigned Business Analyst. Position Requirements: · BA/BS Bachelor's Degree · 3+ years of professional experience in Product Management or Product Development · 2+ years of managing cross-functional teams · Demonstrated ability to perform thorough discovery activities, translate information into customer needs and create meaningful requirements · Professional Agile experience, including story writing and backlog prioritization/management · Excellent communication and presentation skills · Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Zuora, Drupal platform, etc. is a plus
