As a Data Center ConstructionManager, you will be part of a creative, diverse team tasked with solving fascinating problems in constructing Amazon Data Centers. Our data centers are industry-leading examples of energy-efficient, cost-effective designs. As our Data Center ConstructionManager, you will build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. Key job responsibilities
The Data Center ConstructionManager will be responsible for constructionprojectmanagement and oversight of construction-related activities as they relate to new builds or general capital projects. This includes ownership of the project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
Some of the typical daily tasks of the ConstructionManager:
-Direct interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases.
-Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
-Create constructionproject scope and requests for proposals.
-Perform financial analysis of construction.
-Manageconstructionprojects for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
-Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs associated with the construction of new data centers or optimization of existing data centers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set-up with sub-consultants, vendors and contractors.

Deliver fully operational projects on time and on budget
Oversee multiple in-progress projects
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
Communicate with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals.
Approval of Take-Offs from Estimating Department
Attend OAC Meetings as required
Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
