Specific Duties: * Using a hoist, immerses castings, revert metal or other materials into a series of acid and water baths, adhering to specified procedures, temperatures, and time cycles. * Removes castings from holders at completion of process and sets aside for removal. * Regularly uses air pressure and water to rinse castings. * Operates controls to regulate temperature of various baths and to adjust electric current used in electrolytic process. * Loads castings into container and operates hoist to convey container into caustic bath adhering to procedure, temperatures, and time cycle. * Removes container from caustic bath and immerses into water rinse for proper length of time. * Rinses castings using water pressure. * Fills caustic bath with caustic soda or other ingredients and helps in cleaning the baths when necessary. * Verification of parts to paperwork * Perform other duties in department as assigned by Supervision. * Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition. * Follows safety practices and policies. * Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
