Primary Functions

Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Assist in all areas of the Accounting Department as required by supervisor.

Essential Functions

* Ability to read and comprehend complex and technical instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clear, concise and complex correspondence.
* Ability to speak and present in an effective manner, in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of Sierra Central.
* Flexible and self-motivated, and able to work with little direct supervision.
* Must be able to operate the following equipment: PC (highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), printer, telephone, calculator, fax machine, copier, and other general office machines.

* Must at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts to document credit union business transactions.
* Reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with general ledger reconciliation guidelines. Prepare adjusting entries and/or work with branch and department staff to resolve discrepancies.
* Modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
* Conduct studies and submit recommendations for improving the credit unions accounting operation.
* Prepare reports and assist with projects as assigned by supervisor and senior management.
* Additional duties as assigned.

Accounting Specialist

Summary: Balance institution totals daily and maintain accurate records. Maintain the records of the Credit Union and produce timely financial reports.
Essential Position:

* Daily Institution Balancing Processor
* Organize and reconcile daily work to institution totals. Import and post daily journal vouchers. Research discrepancies and work with branch and department staff to resolve items.
* Process daily incoming and outgoing wires
* Prepare Branch and ATM cash orders
* Reconcile daily bank check exceptions and deposits.
* TGA reporting and vouchers

Network Specialist

Summary: Under general supervision, maintains, monitors, and repairs the network and all peripheral hardware, data communications and software in a responsive and professional manner. Installs and maintains PC software and hardware throughout the credit union. Provide technical support to users as needed. Able to diagnose and resolve connectivity problems. Assist IT Manager in implementing new technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

* Maintain and monitor data communications network to ensure that network is available to system users and resolve data communications problems.
* Maintain various computer and hardware related to the communications network. Ensures that routine preventative maintenance is performed according to the established schedule.
* Load software and install and maintain personal computers throughout the credit union.
* Assist with cabling needs as assigned by the Network Administrator.
* Maintain supplies and an accurate inventory of all equipment, hardware and software related to the network and personal computers. Initiate the purchase of additional supplies when established reorder points are reached.
* Maintain mobile devices and related protection software in cloud environments.
* Maintain regular reporting of all endpoint client devices and their status.
* Assign equipment and recover equipment to end users as directed.
* Process work orders and change of status as they are submitted.
* Provide helpdesk and client-side hardware and software support.
* Work with third party vendors to install or resolve problems with software, hardware, and communication line problems for personal computers and networks.
* Remains up to date on technological changes in equipment, devices, and repair/resolution techniques
* Perform related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Supervises, coordinates, and schedules activities of branch employees. Monitors work for adherence to established policies, procedures and regulatory compliance. Anticipates the need to take action and adjusts accordingly to provide a consistent level of outstanding member service. As staffing levels dictate, Branch Operations Managers will perform all operational and platform duties, including accepting and processing loan applications, compiling loan packages, opening new accounts, and handling member transactions, inquiries and complaints. Operations Managers must actively engage all staff in meeting assigned goals and must ensure all branch staff adheres to the Sales Audit Program. Operations Managers are required to achieve a Sales Audit rating of "Meets Standards" or better. The Operations Manager is responsible to ensure their branch consistently meets or exceeds the assigned production goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the overall operational integrity of the branch. Obtain level of knowledge and understanding of procedures/processes to supervise and coach others in all areas of branch operations.

2. Administer an ongoing cross-training process to provide back up for all branch functions.

3. Work within the assigned FTE allowance, develop schedules to adequately meet member service demands.

4. Directly supervise all branch employees, with input and oversight from the Branch Vice President. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

5. Ensure that platform staff is trained in teller and back office duties and provide assistance in these areas as member service needs dictate. Assist and track branch employees' progress through branch career path program.

6. Assist subordinates in locating and reconciling posting errors. Maintain records to verify posting and balancing accuracy.

6. Research and resolve member inquiries and/or complaints in a timely manner.

7. Responsible for daily processing and balancing of all negotiable items and machines; such as checks received, checks issued, cash drawers, and ATM machines.

8. Perform all regular operational and platform duties as needed to ensure members receive quality member service at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, members' transactions normally conducted at a teller window, accepting and processing all types of loan applications, compiling loan packages, opening new accounts, and handling member transactions, inquiries and complaints.

9. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

10. Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

11. Document and maintain on-going performance records. Provide ongoing performance feedback; including annual evaluations, recognition of positive performance, coaching sessions and disciplinary action as applicable.

12. Promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Resolve grievances promptly.

13. Responsible for branch cash limit adherence and maintaining branch cash supply to adequately meet member service demands. Assign cash and transaction limits for branch staff and monitor for adherence.

14. Provide on-going training to all branch employees in required practices and procedures, including hold-up and robbery, regulatory compliance (i.e. Regulation CC) and credit union philosophy.

15. Must actively participate in the branch sales effort, meeting or exceeding individual sales goals.

16. Must ensure that all inter-action with members and co-workers is polite, professional and respectful at all times.

17. Must be able to travel to other locations on short notice to fill-in where needed or as staffing needs dictate.

18. Must maintain current knowledge in all previously completed training classes and courses and must attend all new training as developed and implemented.

19. Successful completion of all required training courses during the 180 day Training Period.

20. Additional duties as assigned.

Underwriter - Real Estate

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements include five years experience in a financial institution with a minimum of 2-3 years mortgage lending underwriting experience. Must demonstrate satisfactory knowledge and skill in analyzing loan applications, credit fundamentals and ability to make sound credit decisions. Must have acceptable proficiency in the following mortgage industry skill sets; satisfactory knowledge of local State and Federal mortgage lending regulations, Real Estate guidelines for GSE's (FNMA/FHLMC/CFPB) and all functions and procedures for mortgage lending operations. Plus have the ability to work under the stress and pressure of a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

Review all real estate loan packages and AUS decisions to determine approval, denial , suspension or recommend another loan program. Approve and underwrite loans within established authority to meet internal, regulatory standards and defined turn times. Assist all Real Estate Loan Processors and department personnel as needed. Assist in training both department and branch personnel in loan procedures as necessary to meet credit union skill levels. Prepare weekly and monthly reports as necessary.
