Position Summary: The Receiver II is responsible for the timely and accurate unloading of trucks, receipt, verification, and delivery of materials to the appropriate location. This is a mid-level position that requires 2+ years of experience. The Receiver II will work both independently and in a team environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately receive items into inventory via Oracle EBS. Identify incorrect inbound material and work with appropriate parties to resolve.
Send follow up emails to Buyers to clear Receiving Crashes and systematically receive material that requires 3 or more sequential and/or follow up Oracle transactions.
Accurately and properly secure correct pallet and/or package labels and "Move To Stock" labels in correct sequence. Accurately record information such as item number, lot number, quantity, number of packages, etc. with 100% accuracy when verify orders.
Unload trucks, inspect freight for damage, sign BOLs, and physically put material into its appropriate location.
Maintain inventory accuracy by correctly identifying, labeling, and transacting materials and supplies.
Ready, willing, and able to properly train new hires.
Engage in and actively volunteer for Continuous Improvement projects and tasks.
Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; 2+ years of Receiving experience required.
Acquire at least 2 PIT and/or MEWP certifications.
Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word) experience required. Intermediate knowledge of Logistics Oracle transactions as related to receiving, ability to perform these transactions independently and accurately.
Help in other parts of the team regularly, work with and relay information to other departments regularly.
Complete, in a timely manner, required tasks as directed by business unit needs.
Communicate effectively and recommend solutions to management.
Ability to demonstrate critical-thinking skills and good judgement.
Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, in English, both verbally and in written form.
Working Conditions:
Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
Work is primarily standing (90 + % of the shift) except for lunch and break periods.
Shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours.
The duties of this job normally require exposure to a typical manufacturing environment. Frequent standing, sitting, stooping, squatting, walking, and stair climbing can be expected along with frequent lifting and/or moving of tooling, parts containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel frequently at a minimum of 50% of the shift, as well as undergo repetitive wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder, and ankle motions.
Must demonstrate proficient fine motor skills, ability to grip, reach, pull, turn, and use tools to torque fixtures in various machinery or in the assembly, machining, or testing of parts.
Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to focus on fine print.
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. security mandates.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to constantly stand, walk, talk and hear. The associate must be able to frequently move, push, pull, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds
This role requires being onsite in the factory Monday through Friday.
Work Conditions
Work is performed in a distribution/manufacturing setting. There may be exposure to airborne particles, chemicals, fumes, flammable materials, dirt, grease, and electrical equipment (Personal Protective Equipment provided where required). The MaterialHandler - Staging sets up assembly areas and ensures all parts needed to build the product are available. This position is a proactive approach through looking ahead and insuring there are no delays in building the product.
The MaterialHandler - Staging position is in Claremont, NC.
You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
Practice safe work practices and demonstrate safe work habits to the workforce and adhere to the Personal Protective Equipment standards of the company throughout the facility.
Adhere to the policies of WSI while performing any duties as assigned with a positive attitude and willing spirit to assist others in the department, facility, and the organization. Always acting with professional courtesy and the highest integrity.
Organizes all materials and puts components in place for the upholstery department to build up the piece.
Pushes build kits to the staging area on the floor for upholsterer to take to the workstation.
Checks for accuracy and ensures all pieces of kit are from the same ticket.
Tracks kits and tickets to ensure pieces are with the correct furniture frame.
Manage old orders and ensure that proper communication of what is needed is conveyed to the supervisor.
Submit, expedite, and locate repairs for the cell.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a MaterialHandler or in a Line Supply role within a manufacturing environment; furniture industry experience is not required.
Experience using computers for tracking and updating kit location for customer service.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
Good communication - both oral and written.
Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
Excellent time-keeping skills, including ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to communicate with upholsterers and trimmers on issues related to furniture building.
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates and managers.
Have a strong sense of urgency and time management to meet established deadlines.
We prefer some of these qualities as well….
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Furniture Industry experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Bilingual, English and Spanish.

Assists with loading and unload trucks.
Performs other duties as required for RHM to be successful, including outside of the Staging area.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
Requires 6 months prior experience in a similar role and knowledge.
Must be able to read the production tickets.
Must have basic computer skills to access production system and scan items into system.
Must have adequate communication skills to interact with all other RHM team members.
Must be able to multitask with minimal supervision.
Detail oriented, able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this role, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The associate is regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull or grip up to 100 lbs.
