Your ‘day to day':
As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will support manufacturing teams during production and ensure quality management system principles and standards are respected along manufacturing process. Ensure that intermediate and finished product non-conformities are managed and related corrective & preventive actions are taken in timely manner. Support quality improvement initiatives related to quality of the products and systems.
Ensure Compliance and Safety
Guarantee adherence to PMI and legal standards, policies, and environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability guidelines.
Foster a proactive, safety-first culture using preventive and predictive approaches in line with our Integrated Operating System.
Production Support
Support production teams by providing quality guidance and support in case of products, quality instrument and system issues. Share knowledge and expertise to teams on new processes, requirements, methods or guidelines.
Train the shop floor team members on quality practices and procedures, and ensure the operational staff remains up to date with PMI quality requirements. Provide first level support for direct material troubleshooting and relevant trials.
Support brand change activities to ensure no consumer complaint occurred.
Coordinate the availability and testing of samples according to the sampling plan and the control strategy.
Perform critical review of executed production batch records and manage intermediate and finished product nonconformities and related corrective and preventive actions held with relevant stakeholders and ultimately confirm to the final approver that the product can be released for commercial manufacturing.
Atline Instrument Management
Maintain test instruments through calibration, chemical or parts supply, troubleshooting methods, and instrument knowledge. Maintain pertinent records, logs, or reports.
Evaluate and verify test methodology and instrument accuracy in assessing quality of finished product. Discuss variances with appropriate personnel and monitor major quality problems and trends.
Complete periodic technical product reports and reports on product problems encountered.
Monitors, maintains, or develops performance reporting systems developed from the inspection and testing operations and recommends necessary action based upon results.
Materials Management
Ensure support to manufacturing in order to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machines efficiency and production costs.
Nonconformity Management
Support investigation in a timely manner of nonconformities and deviation, leveraging on Integrated Operating Systems' tools. Support investigation and resolution of critical deviations, contribute to define disposal actions and when appropriate corrective actions.
Based on recommendation from stakeholders, participate to the decision of releasing or destroying the non-conforming products blocked due to quality issues and monitor the related costs. Support Best Use Before Data(BUBD) processes for Semis and Finished Goods.
Documentation Management & Quality Management Systems Support
Participate to the creation and review of procedures, work instructions and other quality documents. Provide support and training according to the training management system.
Ensure availability of Batch Record before the production in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement
Propose and follow-up quality improvement ideas in production or other processes in Operations.
Analyze the information and participate in small projects with influence on product quality.
Investigate non-conformities, out of specifications/trends in a timely manner.
Ensure corrective action preventive actions (CAPA) and quality improvement opportunities are identified, prioritized and action plans determined in order to support the organization through continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for:
Professional School, Technical or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience
1-2 years of experience in FMCG production, quality or relevant skills through demonstrated experience
Knowledge of quality testing instruments, their maintenance and calibration.
Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge.
Ability to transform data into information (reporting skills).
Knowledge on International standards (ISO).
Experience in FDA regulated environment is plus.
Fluent in English

Position Summary
The principal functions of this position are to provide analytical, technical and operational information to the processing and bottling operations. The Lab Technician is in place to perform standard quality analysis, maintain accurate records and to report nonconformance. The Lab Technician will perform duties and tasks to ensure that the quality of the product is maintained and meets established standards. The technician is tasked with performing quality testing and monitoring procedures, relating to product, finished goods as well as bulk/ingredient supplies. Teamwork skills are necessary to support, improve and drive the Quality department of Hiram Walker to the next level.
Accountabilities
- Conformance to Product Specifications:
Analysis of product including proof, weight per gallon, color, brix, pH, methanol, turbidity, obscurations, total soilds, methanol, analytes, and organoleptic evaluation.
Record and maintain accurate records of test results.
Maintain production samples and reference composite samples.
- Conformance of Bulk Ingredients:
Analysis on pre-shipments, received flavors, bulk ingredients and finished blends.
Verify incoming bulk meets current specification by performing color, brix, pH, Benedict's, and organoleptic evaluation.
Record and maintain accurate results.
Maintain bulk and flavor reference samples.
Report nonconformance to appropriate personnel.
- Analysis of Water:
Perform prescribed analysis, such as pH, turbidity, organoleptic, chlorine, and conductivity.
Record and maintain accurate records.
Report any nonconformance to the engineering department.
- Quality Management Systems:
Updating and documenting new procedures and instruction in regard to laboratory testing and equipment calibration.
Responsible for ensuring that Process Quality Assurance is maintaining ISO 9002, 14001, OHSAS 18801, GMP and HACCP records. Utilize CAM as needed to input WO's in order to drive repairs aimed towards improving performance.
Support the Pernod Ricard Safety Culture initiative and report any safety risk or concerns to department management.
Must follow written PPE requirements and abide by all safety guidelines outlined in procedures and work instructions.
Employees are required to report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately. These would include all non-disabling and disabling injuries and occupational illnesses, fatalities, fires, and explosions, property damage, chemical spills, and any incident having the potential for property damage or personal injury.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our daily manufacturing operations. This role helps ensure every product meets our quality standards by supporting the systems that keep our output consistent for customers. The Quality Technician will work closely with on-site Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to identify issues, assist with corrective actions, and reduce variation in our processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining reliable, repeatable production and ensuring compliance with both customer and internal standards.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine quality checks, measurements, and visual inspections to ensure products create exceptional experiences for our customers
Support on-site manufacturing quality process control activities and maintain accurate documentation
Assist in maintaining quality records, equipment logs, and inspection documentation to support consistent production and compliance
Work directly with local Production, QA, and Engineering teams to provide data and observations during root cause analysis (RCA/CAPA) efforts
Monitor visual and dimensional product characteristics, especially color consistency, and promptly communicate discrepancies to supervisors
Collect, organize, and report quality and process data for trend analysis and continuous improvement
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience in quality
0-1 years of experience in a production, quality, or manufacturing support role
Working knowledge of basic quality tools (control charts, check sheets, 5 Whys, basic FMEA concepts)
Ability to perform accurate measurements, visual inspections, and data collection
Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel and basic data analysis techniques
Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred:
Experience with visually critical characteristics such as color consistency

Primarily responsible for carrying out the daily operations of the quality control laboratory within the bottling facility. This position plays a key role in monitoring the quality of both product and packaging materials-from the time raw materials arrive, through all stages of production, to the shipment of finished goods. Other responsibilities include conducting routine testing to ensure all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and supporting compliance with quality principles established by Hood River Distillers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Monitor production schedules to identify batches and flavors requiring quality control approval.
• Perform testing and record measurements of various product attributes, including clarity, color, taste, fill levels, cap torque, and legal proof.
• Compare test results against established specifications and document compliance or non-compliance accordingly.
• Check all production supplies scheduled for use to ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct pre-bottling product evaluations and facilitate in-line testing during bottling to ensure adherence to quality and packaging standards.
• Check and document quality of incoming raw materials, packaging, and supplies for consistency with company standards.
• Facilitate taste testing and testing of pre-shipment samples; notify management of substandard results.
• Monitor and manage product holds in the warehouse, ensuring timely testing and release decisions.
• Maintain accurate and complete quality control documentation and retain samples in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Communicate quality concerns or non-compliance issues promptly to VP Ops or other relevant departments.
• Assist with customer and supplier quality issues in coordination with internal teams, technical support, purchasing, and management.
• Recommend improvements to quality control procedures and assist in refining processes to enhance product consistency and performance.
• Ensure all quality control equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with testing standards.
