We are currently seeking an Install Technician to join our Infinity team. This role is essential in delivering a best-in-class customer experience through expert installation and post-installation service of Infinity window and door products.
Highlights of your role:
Assist with the installation and post-install service and repair of Infinity window and door products.
Support the Lead Installer with job site tasks including product installation and removal, site setup and cleanup, and product preparation in the warehouse.
Perform basic construction tasks using standard industry trade methods.
Deliver superior customer satisfaction through professional and courteous communication.
Communicate product and installation issues to customers and the Infinity production team.
Provide post-sales support and service for Infinity products.
Maintain clear and concise jobsite documentation to support timely resolution of service requests.
Manage and maintain company-issued assets (tools, phone, computer/notepad).
Ensure personal safety, maintain a clean and safe jobsite, and present a professional appearance.

The Glazier / Installer position is the primary product fulfillment position in the company. Glaziers / Installers are charged with delivering the customer experience in the home as part of the final fulfillment (installation) process.
Thoroughly inspect job materials, ensuring the product(s) are the correct size & style, and that there is no obvious product damage or flaws on product(s) required to complete job(s)
Load required job materials to installation vehicle(s), including redundant materials, tools, job folder/paperwork, safety equipment etc...
Communicate to office AND customer if we'll be late for scheduled installation appointment
Upon arrival at customers home, validate the work to be completed, the product(s) to be installed, installation location(s), and the estimated time it will take to complete the job, and customer expectations, and manage those expectations accordingly.
Install all products and services included in the work order, troubleshoot, and strive to resolve any installation problems that might occur on-site
If it's not possible to safely perform a quality service or installation on the date promised, effectively note all issues, and required materials necessary to complete the installation to the customers satisfaction at a later date.
Communicate with relevant team members regarding incomplete work, ensuring that any new materials are ordered, the cause of the go-back can be discerned, and that customer expectations can be managed accordingly.
Take care of the customer's home/business, ensuring we leave it cleaner than when we found it... use booties, etc...
Close out the installation by walking customer through the care and maintenance of products, walk them through warrantee (if applicable) and how to contact us if they ever need service or have additional questions
Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
1 years residential glass installation experience
HS Diploma or equivalent

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:
* Previous Certification on SG (Sungrow) 3600 Inverter
* Ownership/accountability of your sites
* Keep the sites looking clean and tidy - buildings, vegetation, fences, gates, roads, etc.
* Ensure spare parts inventory is organized, up to date, and able to pull from quickly
* Ownership of site health and safety including signs, PPE, and documentation
* Able to tour around owners/guests as necessary and able to speak to any on-going issues or concerns
* Detailed understanding of the technical aspects:
* Energization/de-energization procedures
* Lock-out, tag out plans
* Operations of site-specific PLCs and controls
* Understanding and access to latest drawings
* Support troubleshooting on all equipment and push to maximize performance/production
* Management of all preventive maintenance activities
* Bi-weekly / monthly inspections to be completed by you such that you can ensure small jobs are cleaned up over time / can pick up where you left off
* Involved in all major PMs i.e. inverters, combiners, helio, substation shutdowns
* Aware of all correctives (you may not always be available to fix everything, but you should request to be brought up to speed and have access to the report)
