Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation services between English and the target language. Interpret during legal proceedings, interviews, and staff meetings with high accuracy and neutrality. Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism at all times. Adhere to interpreter code of ethics and NLRB procedural protocols. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in onsite interpretation, preferably in legal or administrative settings. Proficiency in English and your target Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts. Ability to follow procedures and maintain decorum in formal settings. Must be punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented. Preferred Qualifications: Certification from state or federal interpreting programs (if applicable). Membership in ATA, NCIHC, or equivalent. Experience working in government or union environments is a plus. Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience. W-9 required for payment.
