We are supporting some school systems providing ASL interpreting support for deaf and hard of hearing students in the k-12 setting. A successful candidate for the full-time position or independent contractor will be assigned to a school for the duration of a school year or as needed and provide support to students using ASL as their mode of communication. Completion of an Interpreter Training Program or three years of experience as a sign language interpreter. Preference will be given to a candidate who has graduated from an accredited interpreter training program. Certification is not required, but EIPA and NIC Certification would get preference.
