A commitment to providing exceptional customer experience, maintaining confidentiality, and fostering a spirit of teamwork within the booth is essential for this position. Please note that this job post is only for experienced Simultaneous Interpreters Simultaneous interpretation involves interpreting the speaker's words in real-time as they speak, often using specialized equipment such as headsets, booths and microphones to ensure that the audience receives the interpretation almost instantly (e.g. United Nations, Grammys, Oscars, among other international events). In contrast, consecutive interpretation requires the interpreter to wait until the speaker has finished a segment of their speech before interpreting, typically resulting in pauses and a more segmented flow of communication (e.g. medical appointments, social services calls, etc.).
