Summary
Performs with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative, ultrasound and/or vascular exams of designated anatomy to physician specifications and established protocols. May participate in call rotations, as necessary.
Job Duties
Assists in non-routine specialized exams, such as vascular studies and procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on various vascular systems of the body for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Ensures quality control and quality improvement activities according to guidelines and federal and state regulations.
Maintains current level of expertise in topics related to ultrasound and participates in the appropriate level of continuing education required.
Coordinates in establishing proper parameters and protocols for imaging equipment in conjunction with radiologists.
Assists in revising and reviewing current protocols to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic tests.
Ensures that appropriate consents are present and signed before taking patient from waiting room.
Produces diagnostic images and processes and prepares images for interpretation by the radiologist.
Minimum Qualifications
Specialized Diploma Graduate of approved CAHEA school of diagnostic medical sonography or certification program. In good standing with the ARDMS.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Must be able to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians, and nursing personnel.
Possess and utilize excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communications skills.

We are looking for SPANISH DRIVERS & Interpreters. Our interpreters provide interpretation for doctors, physical therapy, meetings and more... In order to do this you must be Fluent in (Spanish) and English. You must use your own vehicle and be reliable. The reimbursement for using your own vehicle is -- DRIVING PAY IS $15 per Hour and $.57 per mile, the mileage is from your home to when you return home. All the mileage that you use on your vehicle per assignment you get paid for. ** Interpretation work is paid at $50/hr. ** You will get a bi-weekly reimbursement check, which will be all of your mileage plus any out of pocket expenses, such as tolls and parking. Hourly pay will start when you begin interpreting at each location. You will receive your assignments by email the day prior to each trip. This is a Part Time / On Call position Best Suited for Supplemental income. Schedule is Monday through Friday's and no weekends.
