Function/Duties of Position Language Interpretation Services * Provides interpretation between patients, employees, and OHSU staff via telephone, videoconferencing, and on-site for patients with limited English proficiency while maintaining a friendly disposition.     The Spanish Interpreter/Admin Support works in the Oregon Tech Dental Hygiene Clinic located at Chemeketa Community College. The Interpreter provides a wide range of support in the following areas: scheduling patient appointments, explaining treatment needs, billing, some clinical/administrative tasks such as sterilization, laundry, and other tasks as assigned. This position will provide information to patients, students, and staff, and will utilize computer software to meet the needs of the clinic, reporting in-person, as a 0.75% FTE employee. Preferred Qualifications One (1) or more years dental experience. Experience in electronic dental records. CPR Certification. OSHA / HIPAA trained.
