This includes: General sweeping and vacuuming of production areas to remove product buildup on the floors, equipment and surrounding areas. Removal of trash, waste and recycle before shift end and as needed throughout shift or when instructed by the supervisor or management. Any specific cleaning tasks as requested by the supervisor or management Staging materials as needed throughout the shift. This also includes staging all materials for the next shift. Relieving other positions during breaks, lunches or in times of need per supervisor or management request. Ensuring the washroom is clean, organized and free from buildup throughout shift and before end of shift. The Mill Assistant is responsible for getting the bad tubing into the scrap bunker. Always keeps guards in place. Assumes various other duties at the direction of the Mill Operator or shift Supervisor or Operations Manager. Conscientiously works toward running a safer and cleaner operation. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
