We are looking for individuals with strong mechanical / carpentry skills that possess a strong attention to detail. You will be primarily providing installation of stairlifts both inside and outside of the home. Requirements: Prefer 1 year of carpentry / construction skills including electrical skills (the ability to add or move outlets). A box truck, cargo van, full size pickup or full size SUV w/trailer. Current or ability to obtain general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance or exemption depending on the state (we can assist). Must be willing to travel. Required overnight stays from Monday - Friday. Both in state and out of state. Must have all necessary tools for the job including: Box wrenches, Allen wrenches, 12” Miter Saw, Nut Driver Set and Drill Driver Extension What's in it for me: This is a 1099 contractors position Stairlift installation compensation averages around $250-$350 and requires between 2-4 hours to install. Can be slightly more or less depending on the job. Occasionally we will install curved stairlifts with an average compensation around $600 requiring about 4-6 hours to install.
