Job Summary The SVP of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management is a senior executive responsible for leading the organization's sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and category performance. They drive cost optimization, innovation, risk management, and strategic supplier partnerships across all finished jewelry categories. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Define and implement long-term sourcing strategies aligned with business goals. Lead enterprise level strategies across Signet portfolio, with the priority focus on Kay, Zales, Jared, Peoples and Banter. Sourcing & Factory Strategy: Lead all areas in supporting corporate sourcing goals as they relate to service, quality, cost-of-goods sold, reliable delivery, conformance, and profitability. Inclusive of establishing price and labor grids and oversight on all QC compliance. Category Management: Oversee end-to-end category plans across multi branded retail portfolio, ensuring value creation beyond cost savings. Drive centralized Category Management assortment optimization through cross functional and external partnerships. Specifically, as this relates to Sols/SPE and Basic Gold Chain. Responsible to build assortment catalog to meet the needs of the customers across multi-brand portfolio. Lead Category knowledge of the fine jewelry industry, remaining very educated and relevant in product construct, market dynamics, commodity guidance, sourcing and supply chain risks to ensure Signet remains ahead of opportunities and risks. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate high-value partnerships, negotiate key contracts, and manage supplier risk. Establish and govern strategic relationships with key vendors to ensure scorecards are accurate, governed and deliver corporate goals of sustainability and quality assurance. Evaluate potential new vendors that are required to reach future business goals and optimize underperforming or duplicative vendors. Manage all elements of annual VBA process and ensure compliance to SRSP goals. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sourcing and category management team; promote continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, retail brands, PD & Design, Merch Experience to align priorities and maximize value.
