Signifyd CEO and leadership

Rajesh Ramanand is the Founder and CEO of Signifyd, a payments validation company based out of Palo Alto, California. Most recently, Raj led Emerging Markets Risk at PayPal, responsible for managing fraud and credit risk in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to PayPal, Raj was with FedEx for eight years, beginning at the FedEx Innovation Labs as an engineer. In addition to building Fedex's package intercept system, Raj founded, built, and led their Risk Management Division for Payments and Shipping.

Michael is a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Signifyd. Prior to Signifyd, he was the Head of Digital Goods and Platform Risk at PayPal. Before PayPal, Michael served as the Director of Business Development and then COO of GWC Warranty, a 120-person specialty insurance company based in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Michael spent the early part of his career in investment banking and private equity, working at J.P. Morgan and CIVC Partners. Michael holds an A.B. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Stanford.

Dan Strong is the Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for all aspects of the finance and accounting functions at Health Catalyst Prior to joining Health Catalyst, Dan spent nearly 8 years as the Chief Financial Officer of Control4, a leader in home automation and control. Dan’s responsibilities at Control4 included all aspects of finance, accounting, HR and I.T. Dan helped transition Control4 from a private, VC-backed company to a publicly traded company marked by a successful IPO in August of 2013. Dan provided the financial and executive leadership required to ensure the smooth transition of all aspects of the financial control and reporting requirements of a publicly traded and growing company.

Previously, Dan spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer at iBAHN, the leader in hospitality networking. Before iBAHN he worked for 14 years at Iomega Corp as vice president of financial planning and analysis, vice president and corporate controller, and interim CFO. Dan has also held executive-level corporate finance positions at Campus Pipeline, Inc., and Pro Image Corp.

Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He has continued his education with executive courses on financial management practices from the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School.
