A&P Mechanic- Rotor Wing FULL-TIME Opportunity in Olney, IL Starting Salary: $71,635 to $104,483 annually (including 12% geo modifier) IA Stipend 2,080 Sign-On Bonus 12,500 We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Air Evac Lifeteam. This technician will be qualified to support our airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients. Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician. Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures. Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards. Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew. Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team. Minimum Required Qualifications Two (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license High School diploma or GED equivalent Valid State issued Driver's License Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations. Responsibilities: MV Transportation is seeking an Assistant Fleet Maintenance Manager to assist the Fleet Maintenance Manager with management of the day-to-day maintenance aspects of the operation of CNG and propane vehicles. Responsibilities: MV Transportation is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to supervise the maintenance operation during their shift. This includes preventative maintenance and repair of a large fleet of buses and sedans, supervision of all maintenance staff during their assigned shift, assurance that all contractual requirements are achieved, supervision of the maintenance program and reports as well as tracking work orders and filling appropriately. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will work under the Fleet Maintenance Manager in the running of the day-to-day business. Qualified candidates must have technical competence with light/medium-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance. Must be available to work overnight. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, other Maintenance Supervisors, and assigned Maintenance Leads to schedule and/or resume vehicle maintenance on assigned shift. Maintains close communications with Operations, to respond to road calls in a timely manner. Dispatch mechanics, and schedule repairs in an expedient manner. Reviews work orders for accuracy and ensure production schedules are met. With prioritization, safety, quality, and efficiency foremost, the MS estimates productivity times and establishes or adjusts shift employees' production schedules. Conduct pre-shift meeting with employees to communicate, prioritize, assign, adjust and interpret for vehicle inspection, servicing, repairing, and cleaning. Supervise Maintenance Department employees and productivity to ensure accurate and timely completion of job assignments and cleanup activities with follow-up inspection. Clearly communicates staff expectation in an effective and consistent manner. Responsible for the monitoring and recording of employee work time and attendance, in coordination with the Maintenance Manager, review, approve and schedule employee time off balancing the need for overtime usage. Train and direct employees on shift in all phases of service and repair of vehicles including but not limited to, basic repairs, air conditioning, electrical, major component rebuild and/or vehicle cleaning operations. Consistently and fairly, initiates where necessary, documents and recommends appropriate written and verbal disciplinary action and commendations. Analyze and assist in the resolution of work-related problems and diagnosis of malfunctions with machinery and equipment during shift. Generate, as requested, input and track work orders delegated to staff in the Fleet Focus Maintenance Management System. Updates the daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Salary: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $29 - $32.00/hourly + shift differential will apply and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:00am Summary: Under general supervision, this position maintains troubleshoots and services electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and controls. Support all production and physical plant equipment in the facility. Essential Functions: Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to the supervisor. Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation's requirements, company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown. Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes and principles of operation of electrical equipment. Performs mechanical repairs on equipment from hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems. Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts. Lays-out, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjusts electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and to include panels, breakers, and conduit. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls. Examine work orders and converse with equipment operators to detect equipment problems whether electrical or mechanical. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems. Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests. Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications. Promote and comply with good safety practices and habits, including but not limited to, use of all PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as recommended by the manufacture and or the facility's historical data. Knowledge of A/C & D/C motor drives, installation and start-up Knowledge of ARC FLASH & LOTO procedures instructed by OSHA & NEC CODE Troubleshooting PLC's & HMI Screens Understanding of NEC code book and state electrical regulations Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity or industrial maintenance. Experience: Five (5) years of electrical technical hands-on experience including minimum three years wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Familiarity and experience performing standard wiring per National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code. Ability to work some weekends, overtime and share an on-call schedule. Ability to train others on electrical safety and other safety topics.
