As a Customer Relationship Management company, Signpost is important to businesses that want to grow and strengthen their local customer base. The company's product "Mia" is an automation system that collects and analyzes consumer data along every touchpoint. With this data, Signpost employees are able to manage customer relationships in smart ways.

The company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado on the Lodo/Rhino border with offices in Austin and New York. The headquarters office is just 2 blocks from Coors Field and within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants.

"A favorite perk for me is our office space and location on Blake Street," said Senior Franchise Account Manager Lindsey Adams. "The open floor plan promotes collaboration throughout the office. Additionally, our building is a historic landmark in Denver. Working in RiNo means we are close to everything."

Diving Into the Values at Signpost

The values at Signpost are very important to everyday business operations. The company's values are behind every decision made and every idea considered. Signpost's values are:

  • We fight for small businesses
  • We focus on the impact
  • We act like owners
  • We make our own luck
  • Our team wins
  • The Professional Growth at Signpost

    You Can Go the Distance

"One thing that surprises a lot of people is that Signpost is extremely invested in your personal success, from the start of our two-month-long training processes through being a veteran rep," said Sales Executive Savannah Burr. "The entire management wants you to be the best you possibly can, focusing on both team and individual training."

As an example of how much Signpost truly supports growth, Michelle Reger started out at the company as a Junior Account Manager. Through her career there, she has been promoted to both Manager of Customer Success and Associate Product Manager. She was sought out to fill that last and current role of Associate Product Manager. It helped that she was super familiar with the product. But now she had to learn how to manage that department.

"My new manager was extremely involved in my transition -- sending me reading material and articles on product management, setting up one-on-one meetings at least twice a week and assigning me meaningful projects to begin working on right away," she said.

The most important part of the learning curve was that her manager let her fail. Everyone transferring into new roles at Signpost will notice this. You're not expected to be perfect on the first day, or even the first week. Plus the training won't just consist of you watching people do their jobs. Instead, the training will be hands-on.

"I always thought I'd have a career in customer success until I took on the associate product manager role. I now see a successful future for myself in product management," Reger said.

    The Successes at Signpost

A Sign of a Great Company

Successes don't just go by unthanked at Signpost. Instead, successful employees are celebrated in all their glory. Employees share testimonials during the all-company monthly meetings. The top employees are considered Big Dogs.

They get a day each month to enjoy an activity all together away from the office. Past "Legit Big Dog" days have included visits to breweries, a day of skiing and hitting the golf course. Of course, when you have a really big win the celebration is even bigger. You're considered in the "President's Club" and get to take a trip to places like Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Then there are the Top Reps of the Month. These lucky few get to open the beer keg at 1 p.m. during 2 Fridays out of the month. Additionally, the company buys them lunch for the other 2 Fridays of the month. And last, but not least, they get to choose one day within that month to leave work at noon.

The teams at Signpost also select a team member to celebrate each month with the Signpost Award. This is someone who goes above and beyond to uphold the company's values. Their name is printed on the Wall of Fame and they receive a $500 Visa gift card. They really take success seriously at Signpost.
