The Assembly Technician 1 is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the assembly of SilencerCo suppressors, accessories, and firearm-related products. This role focuses on learning proper assembly techniques, following detailed instructions, and maintaining quality standards while working in a team-oriented production environment. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor. Job Responsibilities Assemble basic product components following written work instructions and training. Identify correct parts and tools required for assigned assemblies. Perform fastening and basic fit-and-finish checks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies. Accurately track work and parts as instructed. Assist with inventory organization and material handling. Participate in team meetings and production goals. Learn SilencerCo product lines and assembly processes. Support other Assembly Technicians and departments as needed. Job Qualifications Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and procedures. Willingness to learn and receive feedback. As a Quality Technician you are responsible to check all products throughout production and before they are shipped to customers ensuring that we meet our high standard for precision and durability. Quality Technicians play a role in inspecting and ensuring that products meet or exceed blueprint specifications and other fit, form and function related parameters. You would be responsible to calibrate and issue measuring equipment/gauges to Operators and other co-workers to ensure that products can be properly inspected at their workstations. Job Responsibilities Calibrate and Maintain all measuring instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, thread gauges, etc. Kit measuring instruments for upcoming Machine Changeovers to minimize downtime. Order new measuring instruments both for new products and to replace worn or damaged instruments. React to Quality abnormalities in the production environment. Reading and comprehension of blueprints, data, manuals, SOP's or other documentation to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification process, formulas, or measuring instruments required. Problemsolve non-conforming issues that may arise within the shop. Regularly create and implement Process Improvements. Operation of our coordinate measuring machine, keyence optical measurement system, surface roughness tester and other advanced metrology equipment. Execute regular Quality Certification Service (QCS) on products. Reporting features or parts which don't conform to print of design intent (NCR). Job Qualifications Basic understanding of mathematics - It's a plus if you have knowledge of imperial system/decimal inch, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and other applications. Quality Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to suggest alternative solutions to problems, arriving at conclusions through data, research, and information and ideas presented through spoken word. The ability to apply skills both internally and externally. Basic Computer Skills - Experience with Excel, Word, Solidworks, Powerpoint, and Google Suite is a plus.
