The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, coating, and curing metal components to achieve high-quality, durable finishes that meet Trident Maritime Systems' production and defense standards. This role requires hands-on experience with electrostatic spray systems, oven curing verification, and defect troubleshooting. The Powder Coater will work closely with Production, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure consistent color, finish, and adhesion across aluminum and steel components used in naval modular furniture manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation & Pretreatment Clean, sand, mask, and rack parts to ensure optimal adhesion and grounding. Closely monitor, maintain, and adjust chemical concentrations in multiple wash stations. Application & Curing Set up and operate manual or booth-based electrostatic powder coating equipment. Adjust voltage, flow, and pattern settings to achieve even coverage and proper film build on complex geometries. Load and unload ovens; verify metal temperature cure profiles per specification.
