To provide the intern with both real-world education and experience as well as applicable hands-on capabilities, the primary responsibility for this position is learning to perform the duties necessary to support youth & family programs including-family days, school break programming, camps, classes, nature programs, exhibition openings, and other museum-wide events. Most programs are delivered in the evening and weekends; there is some flexibility in scheduling, though a priority for the position is availability to experience and support events Wednesday through Sunday.
