Job Objective:
In this role, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support and serve as a trusted partner to both the Managing Directors and the Executives they support. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent follow-up and communication skills. This individual must also be able to multitask effectively and interact professionally with colleagues and clients. The position involves coordinating travel, processing expense reports, assisting with client events, and managing logistical details to ensure a seamless experience. The Administrative Assistant will also support various ad hoc requests and projects, such as document preparation, filing and other administrative tasks as needed. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage travel and expenses, including making travel arrangements and processing expenses for team members
Coordinate and schedule meetings for the team and clients, arranging catering when needed.
Book conference rooms for internal and external meetings; meeting and greeting guests, registering guests in the visitor system.
Provide general administrative support and perform additional duties or projects as assigned.

Salary Range:
We anticipate the base salary range for this position at Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC to be approximately $70,000-80,000 USD. The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role-specific skills. Base salary represents one element of Silvercrest Asset Management's comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities
Underwriting
Report to underwriting leadership.
Focusing on both open brokerage and programmatic casualty opportunities, underwrite and develop bespoke structured casualty solutions for complex risks, focusing on profitable growth and long-term sustainability.
Evaluate, select, and price risks, and develop solutions utilizing structuring techniques while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, carrier standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
This position requires a casualty focused underwriter with strong technical casualty insurance expertise and quantitative skills. The successful candidate will need to be creative and willing to learn non-traditional insurance techniques.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting with a primary focus on commercial casualty experience.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Sciences or Business Administration is strongly recommended. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered. Experience in, or working knowledge of, quantitative and financial modeling is preferred.
Licensing:
Required: State P&C and/or surplus lines licenses.
