Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
Ph.D or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Active Florida state Psychologist licensure with completion of an APA-accredited internship
2-4 years of experience providing care in an intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, or comparable clinical setting
Prior experience teaching, supervising, or mentoring clinical trainees
Demonstrated experience in group therapy, crisis intervention, and family engagement

This lifespan position provides services across 5 adult and 1 pediatric hospital with diverse patient populations and presenting conditions. The position entails conducting brief assessments in an acute hospital setting, providing timely feedback to the medical team, and serving as a liaison between the medical inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. The psychologist will collaborate with the medical teams for Internal Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Pediatric Trauma, Obstetrics, and Addiction Medicine to provide excellent multidisciplinary care. The primary patient populations are stroke, complex medical conditions, maternal mental health, pediatric trauma, and substance abuse. The Psychology Consultation-Liaison team utilizes a flexible approach that includes bedside assessments and telehealth services. Competency in providing care to patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics is highly desirable, as well as experience with clinical health and/or rehabilitation psychology and experience with medical populations.
