We're looking for a VP of Engineering to architect the next chapter of our platform and lead our growing engineering team. What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Building: Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team. Build a culture of ownership, innovation, and execution.
Technical Strategy: Define and execute on HFC's technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs, growth goals, and long-term platform scalability.
Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Marketing, and RevOps to deliver high-impact features across web, mobile, and AI-driven infrastructure.
Platform Ownership: Oversee development of HFC's core platform (student experience, brand dashboard, payments, matching algorithms, and integrations).
Data & AI Readiness: Champion AI/ML infrastructure that powers intelligent matching, worker-company matching and recommendations, and operational efficiencies.
Systems & Process: Establish strong engineering processes, documentation practices, and security protocols to support speed without sacrificing quality.
Who You Are
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role;
Experience at a high-growth SaaS or consumer marketplace startup or medium size business is a plus.
Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams from early stage through rapid growth.
Proven track record of managing a product roadmap for business outcomes
Deep experience with modern web technologies (React, Node.js, GCP, Stripe, etc.).
Proven experience building and shipping mobile applications (preferably with React Native) at scale, including deployment, performance optimization, and integration with backend systems.
Familiarity or interest in applied AI/ML, recommendation systems, or job/talent marketplaces.
Strategic thinker who can toggle between high-level vision and hands-on execution.

• Perform inventory check and maintenance of nursing supplies and OTC medication supplies.

Qualifications:
