PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is accountable for troubleshooting, repairs and performing preventive maintenance relative to the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and physical structural elements of the center.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Routinely inspects facility, troubleshoots and makes repairs to the mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and plumbing systems, as well as any structural elements on the property
Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, interior and exterior lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement
Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property
Assist other departments, including but not limited to, Marketing to setup events and Local Leasing with placement and repair of carts
Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment
Schedule and preform preventive maintenance programs as assigned by management.
Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment and tools are maintained
Periodically inspect air handling units, tighten or replace belts, replace filters and grease components. Maintain logs to document activity
Performs exterior custodial duties as needed. May include sweeping sidewalks, wet mop sidewalks, operate steam cleaner, operate hand vacuum. Gather trash and empty trash receptacles; operate compactor and turn trash carts
May perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions
Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to define problems, collect information and establish facts.
Paint, electrical, plumbing, and drywall skills
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Capability to diagnose problems on equipment
Knowledge of basic electrical systems
Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and application of accident prevention measures
Basic knowledge of fire protection hydraulic system and fire protection alarm systems
Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
The salary range for this position is $24.17 - $37.08. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience and qualifications and the geographic location of the job. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the pay range.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing hands-on support to Civics various building infrastructure, including corporate buildings and Credit Union branches. NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK
Provide support in facilities management methodology and practices including site maintenance, physical security, health and safety, space planning, environmental stability and other work environment priorities.
Create and track work requests in an automated database. Collect and quantify detailed facility information at each location, identify and self-perform replacement and repair actions and support vendor preventative and corrective maintenance of building equipment.
Collect and support staff/tenant inquiries in an expeditions manner, enforce and update building standards as outlined at each respective facility, identify facility and control system deficiencies and recommend upgrades to enhance equipment reliability, overall safety and security of the Credit Union.
Perform basic repairs of plumbing and electrical equipment and performance associated preventive maintenance.
Support daily facilities operations, maintenance and repair actions on equipment, systems and grounds throughout our facilities.
Work with tenants for routine and non-routine support of common facilities related matters.
Assist with onboarding new staff in relationship to space planning and coordinate with HR and Technology on any special requirements.
Conduct periodic building inspections under the direction of Facilities management for condition, health, safety and security deficiencies utilizing designated checklists.
Coordinate the Credit Unions vehicle fleet operations, including assessing fleet updates, maintenance and replacement needs.
Take ownership for actions, decisions, and results; openly accept feedback and demonstrate both the willingness and ability to improve.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum 1-3 years experience in Facilities Management, BMS, Fire systems, and supporting various facilities related areas.

Department: Highway FLSA Status: Non-exempt Under the direction of the Highway Department Barn Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker I performs maintenance and repair to county roads and highways. This position is covered as defined by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen Employee Handbook.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the operation of trucks and heavy machinery to maintain or construct roads, culverts, bridges, and drainage structures.
Conducts inspections, ensuring proper fluid levels, tire pressure, and mechanical functionality of trucks and equipment before and after use.
Replaces catch basins and conducts repairs on field tile for water drainage purposes.
Provides traffic control and flagging at road construction sites.
Works as part of a road crew, performing asphalt repairs, mowing, vector removal, and other related maintenance tasks.
Takes charge of snow removal, machine repairs, brush cutting, tree removal, dead animal removal, and stump grinding.
Loads, transports, deposits, and spreads materials such as crushed stone, sand, salt, and others using trucks.
Demonstrates proficiency in operating precise electronic equipment and completing tasks involving slope grade lasers, sondes for tile tracing, operating underground cameras, slope levels, and station surveying for right-of-way.
Maintains work reports and records as required by the County and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Adheres to County, State, and Federal Safety Regulations, Policies, and Procedures in performing all duties.
Performs all other duties as assigned, including overtime as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED and one year experience in truck and heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
Commercial Driver's License with Class A endorsement for operating County vehicles and equipment.
Knowledge of patching highways, OSHA rules for working near and around traffic.
Knowledge of basic roadway construction
Ability to operate dump trucks, chain saw, construction equipment and tools including, but not limited to loader, bob cat, excavator, back-hoe, and motor grader.
Working knowledge of repair and proper installation of the water run off systems and drainage.
Maintain Forklift Certification in addition to participating in all safety training programs offered.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
The Maintenance Worker I carries out moderately complex tasks involving the operation and inspection of heavy equipment. They must possess a thorough understanding of the work process while replacing catch basins and conducting repairs on field tile for water runoff drainage.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Maintenance Worker I regularly lifts objects weighing up to sixty pounds, frequently engages in bending, pushing, pulling loads, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching overhead, and crawling. They spend considerable time standing and sitting, with some walking. The job involves frequent exposure to temperature extremes and hazardous equipment, as well as regular exposure to noise, unpleasant odors, fumes, and occasional exposure to chemicals. Attention to detail, equipment monitoring, and detailed inspections are frequently required, along with some proofreading. The role also entails exposure to hazards associated with working in heavy traffic environments.

Description:
Perform a variety of general maintenance and maintenance repair duties at all branch locations. Perform all duties in conformity with applicable regulations and established bank policies and procedures. Work under limited supervision with moderate latitude for independent judgement.
Essential Duties:
Perform general maintenance and minor repair work, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry repairs.
Perform other maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs for all inside and outside lighting; remove trash from parking lots and around bank facilities; dispose of trash at some locations; change HV/AC filters at some locations; perform periodic pest control; power wash facilities as needed.
Respond to emergency maintenance needs that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
Maintain an electronic log of maintenance requests and when completed.
Install marketing and advertising materials and displays as needed.
Operate a motor vehicle to transport supplies and maintain branch facilities.
Conduct first security walk through of headquarters building before personnel arrive.
Conduct weekly facility inspections at all branches to check for any maintenance problems; take appropriate action on any noted items to ensure the work safety of all employees.
Responsible for warehouse - ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for contractors/vendors and employee traffic; first contact for any deliveries, shipments to Headquarters; maintain physical inventory; review expendable supplies utilized and report to the appropriate manager when reorder points are reached; stock supply shelves when needed; always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Maintain document storage area and coordinate the timely destruction of confidential bank information.
Set up and remove equipment, supplies, and furniture for bank events.
Marginal Functions:
Change flags out on flag poles on a routine basis; lower flags to half-staff when required.
Sweep walks, remove snow/ice, prep employee and customer entrances for inclement weather; perform other incidental seasonal tasks (holiday decorations, lights).
On an as needed basis, sweeps, vacuums, mops, and scrubs; using ladder, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings, dusts and polishes light fixtures.
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment.
May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Other duties as required.

About the role - Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician (Winnemucca, NV)
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician within our Specialty Mining Chemicals team.
This position is responsible for assisting the maintenance team in servicing and repairing all fixed plant equipment, ensuring reliable production runs with minimal mechanical downtime. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Fixed Plant Maintenance Technician handles all day-to-day maintenance needs. Duties include regular and preventative machinery maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical or facility issues, performing necessary repairs, welding, and completing all related documentation.

* On-site full-time, on call every four weeks
What you will be doing
* Provide maintenance support to the Operations department for all mechanical equipment
* Weekly oil and grease checks of rolling stock and certain process equipment
* Repair of process vessels during shutdowns and support for startups
* Installing and testing of various rotating equipment, pumps, seals, and gaskets
* Basic understanding of testing motors and sensors for different testers
