This position allows our phlebotomist to travel to multiple facilities servicing mainly a geriatric population for routine, fasting, time-sensitive and STAT draws and collection. Shifts available: Monday- Friday 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM Responsibilities: Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to assess geriatric patients. Perform venipunctures and other specimen collection according to policy and procedures. Completes required paperwork including requisitions and collection list. Ensures specimen obtained by the client are collected in proper container and labeled appropriately with two patient identifiers. Process and prepare specimens according to testing guidelines, including centrifuging, light protecting, freezing, ext. As an Inventory Specialist, you are responsible for tracking and auditing finished goods and raw materials within the facility. You may be cross-trained and asked to occasionally support other departments to meet business needs.
