Maintain accurate and organized records of members interactions, inquiries, orders, and other relevant information in CHM's database Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure effective communication, smooth transitions, and a seamless member experience. Seek opportunities for process improvement, suggest enhancements to processes, and provide feedback to member experience and overall effectiveness. Set up negotiating agreements with providers. Bill processing of cancer related Single Case Agreements and Memorandum of Understandings. Guide members to financial assistance program options specific to diagnosis. Assist members to help optimize their lifetime maximum amount when limitations exist. Qualifications High school diploma or successful completion of a high school equivalency Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with CHM members and team members across various channels. Proficient PC operating routine office equipment (e.g., faxes, copy machines, printers, multi-line telephones, etc.) Experience with medical bills preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated history of effective phone communication skills. Obtain knowledge of CHM guidelines. Ability to handle stressful and sensitive situations.     Job DescriptionFITNESS SPECIALIST Judson Park/Judson Manor (Full-time) General Purpose: To provide direct service physical activity programs promoting functional independence and quality of life for individuals having different levels of fitness. The individuals may be Judson residents, associates, Judson-at-Home members, or community members. The programming will include individual and group services providing a variety of modalities such as group exercise classes, individual one-on-one programs, weight room monitoring, group and individual aquatic classes and special maintenance services based on a referral from any of the skilled services (rehab services). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires days. Scheduled work time is allocated in the following manner: Attend new employee orientation and departmental orientation prior to or within one month of employment to gain an understanding of the organization: the Mission, Goals, Health and Wellness Philosophy. Support the components of the Health and Wellness philosophy by taking an active role in programs and activities that contribute to the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, vocational and intellectual development of residents and community participants. This could include assisting other Resident Life/Wellness staff with tasks and activities that lead to resident participation and assisting residents with self-initiated programs. Implement/initiate/teach a variety of physical activity programs that offer residents, from all levels of care, and community members, the opportunity to participate in daily physical activity that meets the minimum daily requirement of 30-minutes a day. All programs will be designed to address functional independence. The programs may include, depending upon the individual's expertise, land and water classes (Arthritis H2O, Free Weights, Weight Machines, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Balance Ball). Certification and/or experience in teaching Aquatic Exercise, a plus. Fitness Specialists are expected to cover for coworkers as necessary, and are responsible for securing subs within the team when taking time off. Provide initial set-up and on-going routine assessment for individuals just beginning their physician-approved strength training program. Maintain individual attendance and program forms, progress documentation, records and reports on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis as required by the Department. Assist Director of Wellness with some office duties, such as editing wellness brochure and schedules, communicating with Activities staff on changes in Wellness schedules, ordering supplies for the department at the request of the Wellness Director. Communicate with Director of Wellness regarding any maintenance/equipment needs, and any other occurrences that warrant Director's attention. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Health/Fitness or in a related field Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Computer application skills 6 months experience Job Responsibilities: Supervises members during their normal workout and ensuring the safety of each exercise by correcting form, and that each member is using the proper load for each exercise. Uses time to assist with program and goal attainment. Enforces fitness floor policies and procedures with particular attention to letting members work through when doing multiple sets, putting weights away when done, and cleaning equipment after peak times. Administers certain physical tests to a member upon completion of a consultation and after reviewing any recommendation the member's physician may have for their exercise. Uses all of the results gathered in the consultation and assessment and providing the member with an exercise program that is designed to allow the member to obtain all goals. Walks the member through the exercise program that was designed for the member to help them reach their goal and being available to answer questions for exercise progression.
