As a Tool & Die Maker, you will support manufacturing by constructing and machining details for dies. Repairs and builds dies as well as prototypes. Operates tool room machinery to finish precision details used to repair and maintain dies. Assists in troubleshooting die issues at the press to maintain quality and production. Understands die functions and structure by studying prints of die, product, and prototypes; applies knowledge of materials, machining concepts and assembly methods, and mathematics.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Select, dress, set up, and use grinding wheels for surface grinding, and form grinding. Hand grind, polish and finish die components. (30%)
Perform die maintenance such as cleaning, inspection, sharpening, and preventive maintenance. Die repair, reconstruction and restoration of damaged dies as needed. (30%)
Machines parts by using lathe, mill, drill press, and other typical shop equipment. (20%)
Confirm assembly by verifying dimensions, clearances, and alignment of parts and components with micrometers, thickness gauges, gauge blocks, and dial indicators. Confirm performance of die at the press, check clearances, inspect operation, make adjustments, and compare finished product to specifications. (20%)

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for guiding, directing and coaching warehouse employees to meet on time delivery standards with minimal errors. Provides work direction and leadership to warehouse employees within the guidelines of standard work rules and employment policies. Oversees day-to-day operations of warehouse group including making personnel changes and addressing performance, behavior and policy compliance. This position works Friday- Sunday, 6:00AM - 6:00PM, with OT, as needed.

Job Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting Production and Operational needs while focusing on problem solving, troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, stamping presses, ancillary equipment, feedline machines, scales and all support equipment. You will directly oversee the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Technicians by scheduling work, coaching and mentoring team members and identifying training opportunities to improve the skill set of those within the department across multiple shifts. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Leadership and Team Oversight (50%)
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team. Ensuring the production equipment, machinery, and facilities are properly maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.
Tasks include scheduling, coordinating and assigning work orders (WOs) and preventative maintenance (PMs) to technicians through a CMMS.
Scheduling equipment repairs and production downtime in collaboration with production planning and productions teams.
Review documentation of completed tasks and maintenance history for accuracy.
Manage ordering spare parts and inventory levels with collaboration from our Maintenance and Repair Operations team (MRO).
Help to ensure tools and equipment are available and in good shape.
Communicate and report on maintenance metrics, KPIs, and equipment downtime issues to upper management.
Liaise with other departments; production, engineering, shipping, etc. as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
Equipment Maintenance and Reliability (30%)
Repair, install, troubleshoot, start-up, and provide technical maintenance on all existing and new plant/facility equipment.
Integrate existing and new equipment, as needed.
Identify, maintain, and troubleshoot machines and equipment.
Communicate technical issues to maintenance, facilities and operations management.
Training and Continuous Improvement (20%)
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations on technicians.
Find training opportunities on any additional skills to improve the department.
Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Support capital projects and equipment installations.

Project management skills. Ability to effectively manage and participate in large scale projects involving installing new equipment, relocating existing equipment. Moving equipment such as stamping presses, feeders, straighteners, reels, ancillary equipment, etc.

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer plays a critical part in ensuring production reliability, driving process improvements, and leading technical initiatives that impact both current operations and future innovation. Working closely with the maintenance and engineering team, this position provides engineering and technical support for production equipment and operations. The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes, recommend and execute process improvements, and coordinate new or revised machinery launches.
Essential Job Functions:

Apply mathematical modeling, engineering analysis, and computer simulations to optimize designs

Inspect and diagnose machine malfunctions, underperforming equipment, or inefficient processes
Repair and/or replace defective parts or equipment; ensure machinery is maintained to proper standards
Recommend and implement Preventative & Predictive Maintenance programs, lubrication schedules, and non-destructive testing practices
Lead, mentor, and train Maintenance Technicians; fill in as needed to support maintenance team coverage
Design, develop, test, and/or source tools, machinery, and equipment; prepare cost justifications for new investments
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams (purchasing, quality, safety, production, accounting, sales) to solve problems and drive improvements
Manage maintenance and engineering projects, ensuring safety, budget, timeline, and scope requirements are met
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance
Support production launches of new or revised machinery; troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing/design issues
Maintain a proactive “willingness-to-learn” mindset, continually developing technical skills, including PLC and advanced control systems
Travel regularly between Beach City and Gnadenhutten facilities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent combination of education/experience
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, technical drawings, and blueprints
Proficiency in CAD software and ability to access, modify, and program PLC systems
Solid math and analytical skills, including applied algebra, statistics, and logical/scientific problem-solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across teams and with vendors
Experience in design, testing, and validation of electrical systems and components
Willingness to work flexibly, including multiple shifts, overtime, and on-call support when required
Willingness and ability to travel overnight domestically and internationally as business needs dictate
