    Job DescriptionDescription: Corporate Sales Executive The role of the Corporate Sales Executive is to grow Sims Global Solutions by securing new, profitable, and sustainable customers in LTL and TL services. Our Sales Executives are driven to succeed, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are excellent relationship-builders. They will directly generate revenue and drive new business by prospecting new clients, setting face-to-face sales meetings, presenting recommendations for improved logistic operations, and building long term relationships. You will have the support of a state-of-the-art TMS, driven operations teams, and a network of top carriers. The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Manage customer interactions (fostering relationships, customer calls) Uses CRM to identify, call and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities Visits customers and potential clients within assigned territory 50%+ Collaborates with leadership to ensure alignment with strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development Demonstrates solid decision-making skills and ability to prioritize ever-changing daily tasks Effectively executes sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly & annual expectations Works closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience Consults with Client Leadership to understand their business challenges and supply chain goals Ability to develop tailored solutions that deliver value and support the Client's business strategy Prospects, plans, and conducts face to face visits with new prospective customers within Branch territory Understand how external factors can affect market conditions could impact a customer's logistical needs and provide solutions for new market trends. Consistently update and manage client information in Sims Global CRM Maintains a strong commercial presence in the local marketplace, participating or presenting at regional events Remains engaged with customers to maintain relationship and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager Coordinates with the Operations team to onboard new Clients to provide a seamless transition.
