**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Operates trucks and/or tractors of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment, materials, and supplies
+ Operates trucks or heavy equipment, such as mechanized broom, bulldozer, backhoe, man-lift, dump truck, road grader, front-end loader, hydraulic excavators, skid steers, and jetter/inductor truck
+ Operates jackhammers, mowers, brush chippers and other small equipment and tools to maintain cemetery and streets
+ Supports cemetery operations in digging ditches and trenches, hoisting material, tools, equipment, and any related work with heavy equipment such as a backhoe, road grader or front-end loader
+ Informs supervisor of equipment defects or need for repair
+ Ensures burials, entombments and inurnments are securely and carefully opened and closed
+ Sets and/or installs memorials and markers
+ Installs outer burial containers
+ Follows Interment Verification Procedures
+ Conducts 25 foot radius preparation for burials
+ Adheres to all Company safety rules and universal precautions
+ Maintains and protects Company assets by performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities

+ Completes Dignity University courses and other training as assigned

Review condition of all panel cutting dies with lead adjuster or supervisor once they are removed from machines; return dies to parts cage to be returned to inventory or sent out for reconditioning.
Ensure all check sheets, time reports, and other paperwork is filled out correctly and completely.
Relay any special instructions or important information pertaining to machine performance to next shift upon their arrival.
Monitor machine shut downs where applicable to ensure proper wash up of machines at end of shift; ensure work area is clean..
May act as machine operator to cover breaks or meal periods.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Other duties and assignments as required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
H.S. diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience as a Machine Adjuster working with envelope machines
Preferred Skills
High degree of mechanical aptitude and previous assembly/production experience required.
Previous printing experience preferred but not required.
Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills

**What's the Job?**
+ Responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the pellet mill and associated machinery.
+ Monitor ingredients to ensure the production of high-quality pellets.
+ Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
+ Operate bagging, sealing, stacking, and wrapping equipment efficiently.
+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and contribute to SOP improvements when necessary.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience operating heavy equipment such as wheeled loaders and forklifts.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift.
+ Capability to lift and carry 40 lb bags occasionally.
+ Willingness to climb ladders and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing hearing, eye, breathing, and hand protection.
