This facility supports the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) mission to provide realistic cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and to enable the conduct of realistic training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force. The Modeling and Simulations Specialist supports the Research and Development (R&D) team in the Headquarters and Support Section. The candidate develops novel models and simulations supporting the Information Environment and Range Event and Operations sections with expertise in model based systems engineering (MBSE) used to optimize and document information environmetn and range operations. The candidate is also responsible for developing or incorporating digitial twins to support test execution and range customer requirements. The position also develops, evaluates, recommends, and implements MBSE best practices, automated test tools, and strategies. May be required to write supporting recommendations and develop novel solutions improving test and range operations using and tailoring MBSE best practices. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Serves as subject matter specialist providing MBSE know-how. Supports range enterprise architecture develpoment and novel capability design and development. This positions supports the program and all other duties as assigned.
