Drive the team to continually and holistically better itself, enabling the engineers around you to deliver at a high velocity while helping them grow their skills in the process
Be a key collaborator with other groups in Engineering and a technical counterpart to the API team's Engineering Manager, serving as a public face for API engineering and representing our interests across team boundaries
Partner with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and User Research to deeply understand developer needs, and then propose elegant solutions to meet them
Own and shape the guidelines for what good API design looks like, partnering with product engineering teams to help them implement those best practices in a self-serve manner
Develop across the entire stack to make developers' experiences better by writing clean, beautiful code and leaving things better than you found them: this includes writing Scala, Javascript, and Typescript
About you
6+ years of experience working in large codebases

Excited to be a part of an inclusive culture where everyone brings the aspects of themselves to the workplace that they need to thrive, fostering an environment of psychological safety within your team
Demonstrate curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making
At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town - we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.
By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We're looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

Coach and mentor mobile engineers in a fast-paced environment, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Improve the quality of our mobile apps through comprehensive testing strategies and a focus on long-term architectural health.
Improve the iOS architecture, addressing technical debt and implementing forward-thinking solutions.
We're excited about you because you have:
6+ years of iOS experience, having worked on multiple apps shipped to the App Store, with a strong portfolio demonstrating architectural contributions.
Experience shipping and maintaining a mobile app over an extended period of time, with a proven track record of working with mobile apps at scale or having helped apps scale to millions of users.
A passion for programming alongside strong problem-solving and architectural abilities, with a focus on elegant and scalable solutions.
A love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems, always seeking to innovate and improve.
Previous experience on a platform team and a passion for scaling systems for a growing organization and user base, with a deep understanding of mobile infrastructure.
