In this position, you will use your teaching skills and GIS knowledge to empower our customers with our innovative GIS software. As an Esri Instructor, you will create a dynamic learning environment through hands-on training, interactive instructions, and engaging activities. You will partner with organizations to expand the use of ArcGIS maps and applications across their organizations and communicate the strategic impact of GIS programs.
The contributions you make in this role will support Esri customers across many industries including but not limited to Defense and Intelligence, Public Safety, and Health and Human Services. The work you do will enable customers to grow their ArcGIS user skills, productivity, and confidence in addition to ensuring sustainable GIS workflows and operations.
Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Vienna, VA area for this position.
Responsibilities
Grow user skills. Develop and deliver training programs through various formats and methods including in-person, virtual and hybrid offerings, to enhance users' proficiency in ArcGIS software both domestically and internationally. Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training sessions and workshops. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, answering their questions and helping them overcome challenges. Stay updated on the latest GIS trends and technologies to ensure the training content remains relevant and up to date.
Ensure sustainable GIS workflows. Collaborate with customers to understand their business processes and requirements. Provide guidance and training on best practices for designing and implementing sustainable GIS workflows. Deliver workshops and training sessions to educate customers on sustainable GIS workflows. Support customers in overcoming challenges and addressing any skill gaps related to workflow sustainability.
Expand the use of ArcGIS. Actively promote the adoption of ArcGIS across customer groups. Identify potential use cases for ArcGIS in various business processes and demonstrate its value through facilitation. Develop and deliver training workshops and sessions to showcase the capabilities of ArcGIS. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and customize ArcGIS solutions to meet their needs.
Communicate the impact of GIS. Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to effectively communicate the impact of GIS. Collaborate with Content Development and Creation teams to create engaging content, such as case studies and success stories. Present the value of GIS to customers. Stay informed about industry trends and research to provide insights on the broader impact of GIS in various domains.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities with an emphasis on ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro, with 2 years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs
Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
20% travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year

Job Summary
Defense Systems Group (DSG) provides analysis-based decision support to senior leaders on space architectures, policy and strategy, technology development, warfighter capability enablers, systems integration, defense industrial base, and threat reduction to help shape existing and future space missions across the national security space (NSS) enterprise. The Pentagon-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Computing Capabilities Advisor to the Department of the Air Force (DAF)- (Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer - Systems Engineering - Acquisition and Systems Engineering) will support The Aerospace Corporation's role as a trusted agent and objective technical advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration (SAF/SQ). This position provides independent technical analysis and systems engineering insight to inform space acquisition, integration, and enterprise decision-making involving AI-enabled and cloud-based solutions.
You will provide on-site technical support to DAF AI initiatives and will serve in a multi-role capacity across SAF/SQ and HQ Space Force/S6 equities and interests. The role emphasizes space systems-of-systems engineering, architecture integration, and technical risk reduction across the space enterprise rather than program execution or system development.
The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site, nominally based at The Pentagon and our Crystal City, VA Aerospace location.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide objective, non-advocacy technical advice to the DAF on the application of AI and cloud-computing solutions across space systems, architectures, and acquisition portfolios.
* Assess technology readiness, implementation risk, and integration challenges for AI, machine learning, autonomy, and cyber technologies in space acquisition programs
* Support enterprise capability development and integration, including mission thread analysis and cross-program integration studies and activities
* Advise on acquisition and integration strategies
* Develop technical roadmaps, trade studies, and decision-quality products to support senior SAF/SQ, Space Force, and OSW stakeholders
* Coordinate with Aerospace technical experts, SSC, AFRL, USSF, and other FFRDC partners to ensure coherent, end-to-end technical insight
* Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings and written assessments translating complex technical analysis into actionable recommendations

Job Summary
The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The division leverages a broad array of engineering disciplines against a dynamic portfolio of programs, customers, and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space and space-enabled capabilities.
As a core component of EED, the Earth Orbit Flight Dynamics Department (EOFDD) provides flight mechanics expertise for launch vehicles and space vehicles. Relevant skills include orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, trajectory design and optimization, and atmospheric flight modeling and simulation. We are looking for a Member of the Technical Staff to provide expertise for a wide range of customer flight dynamics needs, supporting both analysis and research and development requests. The work will require candidates to provide deep technical solutions while also collaborating with engineering partners to facilitate integrated solutions for our customers' hardest problems. Customers will include defense, intelligence, and civil and commercial organizations.

What You'll Be Doing
* Trajectory design and optimization for launch vehicles and spacecraft for missions operating in LEO, MEO, HEO, GEO, and other earth-centric regimes
* Astrodynamics and orbital mechanics analysis including orbit propagation and maneuver design and optimization for orbit transfer, stationkeeping, graveyard, disposal, and reentry events
* Analysis of vehicles with chemical and/or electric propulsion
* Evaluating contested missions applications for space systems to understand threat performance, assess vulnerabilities, and improve system resiliency
* Maneuver and orbit design, selection, and optimization for missions that support Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) objectives with complex operational constraints
* Developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), exploring Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and incorporating operational constraints into the design and maturation of space systems
* Providing operational support for nominal launch and spacecraft deployment and transfer sequences, anomaly resolution, and on-call emerging events
* Utilizing optimal control, flight mechanics, and computer science/algorithm development skills to create new capabilities to service customer requests as stand-alone services and/or ready-to-integrate submodules
* Combining AI/ML/RL techniques with flight mechanics modeling for assessing complex analysis and decision-making trade spaces

As the Spacecraft Thermal Engineer (Senior Member of Technical Staff/Engineering Specialist - Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering), you should have a strong background in the disciplines of heat transfer and thermal engineering and their applications to space systems; and direct experience in thermal design and control of spacecraft. S/He will support both classified and unclassified spacecraft programs with emphasis on classified systems. The successful applicant will engage and advocate for the best solutions, best practices, and best innovations for critical thermal control issues across the enterprise, both inside and outside the organization.
This is a full-time position in El Segundo, CA., or Chantilly, VA., and combining 4 days onsite and one day remote.
What You'll Be Doing
* Key customers are internal program offices representing defense and civil agencies, such as the U.S. Space Force, the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and others.
* You will engage with impact with these internal and external customers to identify, track, and resolve design, workmanship, and performance issues relating to space vehicle and payload thermal control subsystems.
* You will deliver results as the thermal subject matter expert in thermal control systems for spacecraft and payloads. Lead and conduct analysis, modeling, simulation, experimental investigations, and assessments of designs and design concepts relating to spacecraft thermal control systems and their components. Minimum Requirements for Senior Member of Technical Staff:

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a IT Network Engineer (IT Network Engineer Staff IV/V) responsible for architecting and implementing Enterprise LAN, WAN and Data Center network infrastructure in an all-Cisco environment. What You'll Be Doing

Design and implement high availability, scalable data center networks based on Cisco SDN (ACI, Nexus Dashboard) technology.
Develop secure network segments (enclaves, DMZs) using Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Cisco ASA Firewalls and other Cisco network security products.
Perform setup, configuration and testing of network designs in our DevOps lab located in El Segundo.
Coordinate with network staff on implementation tasks and schedule, meeting any specific deadlines as needed.
Interface with user community to understand their internal and external connectivity needs and collaborate to develop design, implementation costs and annual operations costs.
Assist in development of Network Services Department fiscal year budget requests for capital, overhead and maintenance.
Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies.

Minimum Requirements for IT Network Engineer Staff IV:
