Performs extensive on-call responsibilities to assist with the activities related to the donor recovery. Coordinates and assists with fly outs and fly backs. The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. One to two years experience in the operating room or recent graduate of a certified surgical technician program required. Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 by completion of the first year. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications and basic data entry skills required. Position Details This position will work a 12hr night shift every Saturday. There will be an option to pick up additional shifts when available. Saturday availability is required. Experience * Required: Minimum two years of operating room experience. * Preferred: Expertise in one specialty. Education * Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military service training. * Preferred: College coursework with Associate or Bachelor's degree. Specialized Skills * Required: Able to relate and communicate in English professionally with others; respect policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; accept direction.
