JOB SUMMARY
The Envelope Adjuster is responsible for the setup and operation of W+D 527 and/or W+D 627 and/or W+D 102 printing & converters. The adjuster will also be able to independently perform job changes, including window and size changes. The Envelope Adjuster is responsible for shift guidance of Envelope Converting Operators and is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment and work area.
The Adjuster will have the knowledge or be willing to be trained in the principle of Flexographic printing on both belly and central impression printing units.
The Envelope Adjuster is responsible for effectively meeting production goals to satisfy the demands of our clients and intra-company departments while upholding the highest level of quality and commitment to Innovairre. He or she must strictly follow all health and safety rules and procedures, which includes wearing personal protective equipment (hearing/eye protection, etc.) as required.
Sets up converting equipment in a variety of configurations to meet work order specifications.
Performs quality inspections to ensure accurate measurements of envelope, window, and flap dimensions.
Works with and trains Envelope Converting Machine Operators in skills necessary to perform efficiently.
Performs preventive maintenance.
Maintains adequate levels of glue, ink, window film, etc.
Notifies the Supervisor and Quality Control if there is a quality problem.
Understands or desire to learn Flexographic printing.
Fills out production reports including information such as name, date, job number, activity codes, etc., that are to be turned in at the end of the shift.
Informs Supervisor on inventory issues related to materials.
Works safely to prevent accidents by keeping the area clean and free of any trip hazards (such as straps or hoses), following proper lifting techniques, and keeping all aisles clear.
Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

JOB SUMMARY

Key Accountabilities:
Operates pharmaceutical production machinery and follows the procedures for manufacturing such as weighing, blending, dispensing, mixing, pellet coating, granulating, drying, milling, blending, compressing, Encapsulating, Coating, potent compound, etc. Meets the requirements for use of manufacturing equipment and other commonly used equipment per SOPs.
Executes written SOPs to ensure the purity of materials involved in the manufacturing process.
Properly uses all scales, including printouts, zeroing, setting tares, and daily calibration verification per SOPs.
Examines manufacturer Product ID Labels, Quality Control release tags, and Batch Production Record to verify issued/staged raw materials can be released for production.
Cleans manufacturing equipment and facilities according to established SOPs.
Executes machine changeovers from batch to batch.
May sample batches for quality testing. Executes required in-process product quality checks and documents accurately.

Working within a high-production industrial environment, the Production Operator is responsible for meeting departmental production, quality, and safety standards. The position of Production Operator is responsible for monitoring and operation of plant process equipment used in the manufacturing process. The operator evaluates the unit's operating status and performs troubleshooting of processes and equipment in order to maximize unit reliability and quality production. The operator documents various operating parameters and maintains communication with others inside and outside their department. Operators also monitor maintenance activities and performs minor maintenance. Second Shift: 6pm-6amA Day in the Life:
Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations. This includes participating in all safety related activities such as safety talks, behavioral based safety observations, audits, etc.
Operate, monitor and troubleshoot equipment used during daily manufacturing
Perform changeovers and disassemble, assemble, and clean machinery
Understand and execute daily production run schedules, resolve quality issues, and report any unresolved issues immediately
Stage packaging area, manually lift and load 55lbs or more of material into equipment, bag/box finished product and prepare for shipment and distribution
Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished product to designated areas
Operate hand tools to effectively degate or deflash materials
Empty trash and waste into compactor or dumpster
Raw material management including organizing, handling, weighing and measuring
Follows standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks
Performs all standard QC tests and accurately record production data
Performs equipment maintenance tasks (PM'S, troubleshoot, repair, etc.), where applicable.
Maintain a clean work environment and all tools and equipment are in the proper location and storage units.
You Bring This Value :
Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position; mechanically inclined preferred
Availability to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed
Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. at time of application

The major responsibilities of the Production Operator are:
* Required to begin production as scheduled (start of shift).
* Ensures all manufacturing equipment is safe to operate and all guards and stop buttons are functioning prior to beginning production.
* May complete other check lists or operator production sheets prior to and at end of production.
* Manufactures product ensuring that all finished goods meet customer requirements in quality, quantity and proper packaging and labeling.
* Maintains good housekeeping in work area and throughout the plant.
* Follows APPS and Lean Manufacturing directives and instructions.
* Ability to understand and comprehend operational work instructions.
* Ability to work necessary overtime, which may include weekend work.
