2000

The former St Francis Academy in San Antonio, Texas, closed in 2000 but still has a robust, involved alumnae group.

2001

On October 4, 2001, the Franciscan Sisters of Baltimore, a small but viable congregation, merged with the Sisters of St Francis of Assisi.

2003

In August 2003, the Franciscan Sisters of Ringwood, New Jersey, merged with the Sisters of St Francis of Philadelphia, enriching the congregation with new members and new ministries.

2006

In 2006, after an in-depth study and evaluation of the personnel and ministries of the Pittsburgh and Bethlehem Provinces, the sisters chose to merge and unite as the School Sisters of St Francis, United States Province with the administrative offices at Mount Assisi Convent in Pittsburgh, Pa.

2017

In 2017, the Board of Trustees purchased St Elizabeth School from the Sisters of St Francis of Assisi.
