General Summary:
This position is non-exempt and is primarily responsible for the efficient performance of institutional housekeeping/laundry tasks both alone and as a member of the Housekeeping/Laundry team.
Accountability:
The Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant will be accountable to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor.
Essential Functions: 100%
1. Cleans public areas in the school, convent, Center of Renewal and/or Health Center, at the request of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor.
2. Cleans private living areas (including bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and kitchens) in the convent, Health Center, Center of Renewal and Ormsby Hall.
3. Responsible for the operation of all machines located within the laundry, including the washing machine, wringer, dryer and iron.
4. Performs all tasks assigned, including taking orders and executing them in a timely and professional manner.
5. Ability to read directions and communicate both orally and in writing sufficiently to preform job.
6. Attends monthly staff meetings and periodic in-service training sessions, when schedule permits.
7. Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment and work with large machines.
8. Orders cleaning supplies internally when necessary.
9. Determines and requests assistance from the Maintenance Department in moving heavy furniture, weighing 50 lbs. or more, when necessary.
10. Provides weekend/evening coverage when requested by the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor in advance.
11. Able to work as a team with fellow employees, respecting the privacy of the Sister residents and guests.
12. Must have the ability to accept directions, perform several tasks at once, adhere to a schedule and execute a task from reception to the delivery of a completed service.

Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents in the delivery of services to them. Interacts with residents in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.

Observes residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly reports these changes to appropriate licensed nursing personnel.
Provides care that maintains each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents and by applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.
Answers residents' call bells promptly and courteously.
Performs various tasks assigned by the charge nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing residents, applying creams/ointments and collecting specimens.
Assists with orienting residents to the health center on admission and when transfers occur.
Lifts, moves and transports residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
Assists and escorts residents for appointments such as at the beauty shop or attending activities or church services. This may also include community medical appointments as needed. Participates in activities and functions as directed.

Under the direction of the Vice President, the Director of CCBHC Field Operations has responsibility for administrative and managerial operations for the CCBHC including the Article 31 Mental Health Clinic, the Article 32 Addition Clinic, the Mobile Crisis Team, Benefit and Peer services and attached school satellite clinics. The Director of CCBHC Field Operations is responsible for providing day-to-day management and leadership of the programs including fostering an environment that promotes excellence in service delivery as well as staff accountability.
The Director of CCBHC Field Operations for Integrated Health & Wellness Services will be responsible for managing day-to-day program operations, overseeing the appropriateness and effectiveness of outpatient services, including the provision of program/supervisory coverage /management, and the identification of gaps in service delivery system. The Director of CCBHC Field Operations will be responsible for representing the Agency at meetings which may occur evenings and weekends, conferences which may require overnight and/or out-of-state attendance, and public forums. The Director of CCBHC Field Operations will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation, development and implementation of processes and services that will improve the service delivery system, program development - including monitoring revenue, expenditures, productivity, outcomes, staff training and development, compliance with budgets and contracts, agency policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and audit readiness and new initiatives. The Director of CCBHC Field Operations for Integrated Health and Wellness plays a key role in the integration of services across the agency. QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Social Work from a nationally accredited institution.
Valid NYS LCSW required.

Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in the Behavioral Health field with preferred experience in outpatient Article 31 clinic, rehabilitative and recovery programs, or equivalent service setting.
Strong understanding of mental illness and substance abuse.

The Rehab CNA assists in the delivery of rehabilitation services under the supervision and direction of rehabilitation personnel within the disciplines of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology as allowed by state and federal regulations. Transports residents on active therapy program, as well as assists in therapy related activities assigned by rehab personnel. Responsible for clerical duties assigned by the Therapist Managers and other rehabilitation staff for timely and organized maintenance of equipment, medical records, soft charts and other documentation. Basic computer work and data entry may be required.
Assists in direct therapy service provision by carrying out delegated, selected patient related tasks under the direct supervision of a therapist allowed by state and federal law.
Transports patients/residents to and from therapy department safely and efficiently. Escorts independently ambulatory residents to the rehabilitation department when requested.
Provides additional physical help for patient transfer and safety needs under the direct supervision of a therapist or therapist assistant. Assistants do not perform clinical tasks reserved for licensed therapists or therapist assistants.
Maintains cleanliness and safety of the rehabilitation department's physical environment and assigned equipment.
Oversees maintenance of equipment in accordance with infection control safety guidelines.

BCS's Transitional Living Community (TLC), a 30‑bed section of the Brooklyn Women's Shelter in East New York, Brooklyn, was established in 1989. TLC provides homeless, low‑income, mentally ill women with temporary shelter and assistance to secure permanent housing. TLC recruits its clients primarily from the assessment unit of the Brooklyn Women's Shelter. Staff conduct comprehensive assessments to identify women with severe and persistent mental illness, many also having serious personal, social, medical and economic problems. A principle feature of the TLC program is the “milieu treatment” in which women are helped to practice the skills they will need to live successfully outside the shelter system, including pre‑vocational preparation.
Position Summary
Provide consistent, high‑quality program service delivery to all client populations in accordance with funder and regulatory requirements; best practices; BCS policies and Core Values; and Code of Conduct for Custodians of People with Special Needs. This includes program coverage and attendance to individual client needs during scheduled shift, including reception activities, answering phones and directing calls, and assisting all clients with self‑administered medication. Our staff uses a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of CPI Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the quality of care in ACS/OFCS/OMH Children Residential Programs. In addition, ensure the programs are incompliances with all regulatory bodies. The Director of CPI will updates policies and procedure for the programs.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and assist with implementing on-going CPI activities including a systematic quality improvement plan which identifies program strengths and weakness; develop internal staff trainings, conducting internal audits (scorecards), facilitating external agency audits and preparedness.
Completely monthly score cards for the SILP program.
Act as Liaison with the Evaluation and Review staff at JBFCS Headquarters as well as other regulatory bodies including Justice Center, OCFS, APA, OMH, MHCU, Older Youth Services, etc.
Continually evaluate organizational needs including development and yearly review of Program Policies and Procedures, ensuring they meet regulatory changes and guidelines.
Overseeing agency compliance with regulator applications including: ARTS, LTS, PAT, 29i application, Agency Annual Profile, QRTP profile, and Connections.
Track and oversee agency incidents, this includes documentation of events, regulate Alltrac reports, OSR reports, MHCU reports, OCFS fire alerts, LGBTQ notifications, PIPs/CAPs.
Monitor all Justice Center allegations, significant incident follow up, internal investigations and IRC presentation and recommendation follow up.
Will provide weekly supervision to the CPI Coordinators, and monthly group supervision.
Conduct periodic resident satisfaction surveys, and surveys requested by governing bodies.
Facilitate FTC's (Family Team Conferences) in the absence of the program CPI Coordinator, as needed.
Facilitate all FTC's for the SILP program.
Case consultation for high risk cases, and clinical guidance to program directors and clinical leads.
Provide coverage in event of program CPI vacancy.
Update team with new ADM's from OCFS, and trainings that support the team via HSLC and ACS Workforce Institute.
Will monitor the Community Residences Playbook.

Job Summary
The Nurse Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and management of administrative and nursing functions of the Health Center, including the medical, mental, and physical care of Sister patients. This role oversees the planning, organization, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Health Center policies, procedures, and programs. The Nurse Administrator serves as a professional leader to staff and as an educator and advocate for patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care in alignment with the organization's mission and philosophy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative and Nursing Leadership (95%)
Provides overall direction and supervision of Health Center operations in accordance with established administrative policies and procedures. Supervises all Health Center staff.
Collaborates with PACE and Hospice managed care administration to coordinate physical and medical care for Sisters enrolled in these programs. Communicates all changes in health status in a timely manner.
Develops goals and objectives for the Health Center consistent with the organization's Mission Statement and philosophy.
Responds to requests from the Nurse Manager and nursing staff for assistance in assessing, evaluating, and supporting residents.
Ensures that each patient receives appropriate assistance with activities of daily living.
Provides direct support to nursing units as needed and remains available to assess, counsel, and advise Sisters regarding physical, mental, and emotional concerns.
Responds to healthcare needs of Sisters who are not residents of the Health Center.
Establishes standards of care and defines shift responsibilities.
Develops, implements, maintains, and annually reviews nursing policies, procedures, and job descriptions in accordance with accepted professional standards.
Identifies educational needs in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Human Resources Administrator. Presents or arranges educational programs for residents and staff as appropriate.
Ensures the availability of emergency, fire, and safety procedures and training. Develops and oversees Health Center fire drill scenarios.
Conducts supervisory rounds at least quarterly on all shifts, including weekends, to evaluate nursing staff performance. Reviews patient charts, Medication Administration Records (MARs), and report sheets to ensure quality of care.
Participates in an on-call rotation with the Nurse Manager to address emergencies and provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
Meets formally with Health Center support staff at least monthly. (ex. Pastoral care, activities and minister of community life)
Schedule regular community meetings with resident sisters.
Coordinate staff meetings.
Collaborates with the Council Liaison on current and future planning, including review of health conditions and treatment plans for Sisters. Meets monthly with the Council Liaison.
Oversees hiring, performance evaluations, documentation, and employment actions. Works with the Nurse Manager to ensure consistent evaluation and discipline practices in accordance with personnel policies.
Prepares weekly staffing schedules for the Health Center, monitors staffing utilization, and adjusts as necessary.
Completes payroll on a regular basis and analyzes payroll data for budgetary impact.
Oversees and supports the bookkeeper in preparation of the annual budget. Reviews year-to-date budget reports on a monthly basis.
Prepares and submits capital needs requests for the Health Center to the provincial budget committee.
Evaluates equipment and supply needs, determines cost-effective procurement methods, and establishes policies to ensure adequate availability.
Participates in continuing education to maintain current knowledge of nursing administration and geriatric nursing practice.
Establishes and maintains written policies and procedures to ensure the safe, effective use, distribution, control, and administration of medications.
Participates in the leadership team and serves on committees as assigned by the Council Liaison.
Collaborates with the Food Service Director to ensure balanced nutrition, special diets, and appropriate nutritional supplements.
