JOB SUMMARY: To assist the Director of Nutrition Services and Westside Nutritional Leadership and Services staff to ensure adherence to USDA regulations for the National School Lunch, Breakfast(NSLP)/School Breakfast Program(SBP), Child and Adult Care Food Program(CACFP) and Summer Feeding Programs(SFSP) in Westside Community Schools and for all contracted locations. Contract Meal Service:
Provides the oversight and direction for the Contract Meal Kitchen, including but not limited to:

Organizing, preparation and delivery of meals to all contracted sites
Responsible for all administrative duties including, but not limited to:
Site paperwork and support documentation for contracted schools
Employee oversight of all areas within the production kitchen and warehouse to ensure safe and efficient preparation and delivery of meals and snacks to all contracted sites.
Large Production and Distribution:
Responsible for large scale production and distribution to Westside schools.
Provides direction to kitchen and logistics staff to distribute needs from the contract site to all district schools when needed.
Special Diet and Alternative Meal Preparation and Distribution:
Works with the district nutrition specialist to plan, organize and execute alternate meals and special diet distribution in balance with the hot menu for all contracted and district schools.
Manages recipes for alternative meals and special diets, ensuring product and menu items are accurate, reporting any changes to the district nutrition specialist.
Oversees all administrative duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL AREA OF FOCUS:
Sanitation, Food Safety and Employee Safety
Develop, implement and execute the Westside Nutrition Services H.A.C.C.P. Plan.
Develop and integrate employee safety regulations into all phases of the district foodservice operation
Establish procedures and policies for risk management
Provide a direct relationship with the local Health Department
Training
Ensure all staff are trained to execute all essential functions. This includes initial training from first employment date to continuing education through meetings, social media, one on one and formal training such as ServeSafe and on-line training opportunities
Implement effective management techniques to ensure all records and supporting documentation are maintained in accordance with local, state and federal laws and policies
Farm to School Coordination
Work with established contacts in the local farming community to provide local, safe and wholesome produce for distribution to the CNP.
Menu Writing and Product Development
Create menus with the Director of Nutrition Services and Westside Nutrition leadership that are feasible, creative and cutting edge while meeting federal, state and local guidelines
Research and develop recipes that ensure consistency and quality

The Management Trainee works directly with the Site Manager at individual customer sites and includes training to take responsibility for operations at a customer site involving sanitation. This includes cleaning procedures, safety, food safety, quality assurance ("QA"), customer relations, payroll, team member relations, staffing, budgets, and billing. Job duties include:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience
PMP certification is preferred.
Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, is preferred.
Strong background in Project Management (PM), with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals

The project manager role serves as a lead project manager for the team, ensuring successful project deliverables and completion for complex and high-priority projects that may span across multiple teams. This position provides project management direction to the team and ensures quality execution of key projects that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets and tracks progress to manage the financial success of projects and ensure timely completion.
Manages complex contract negotiations.
Leads the execution of project plans by assembling and managing project teams, coordinating availability of internal resources, and assigning individual responsibilities ensuring technical skills, capabilities, and expertise align with project objectives.
Monitors progress and measures project performance, ensuring deliverables fall within established scope, schedule, and budget.
Manages change requests, executes risk management techniques, and implements strategies to minimize negative financial impact to the project.
Coordinates detailed reviews of technical work to ensure high-quality work is being performed and the terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in the project contract are being fulfilled.
Maintains an ongoing positive relationship with clients and focuses on exceptional client service to secure future work.
Documents all project deliverables and maintains comprehensive records including correspondence, design plans, and other project related files.
Mentors staff within the team on project management best practices utilizing Olsson Project Management programs and other project support services resources.

Education: industry-related college degree is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Works directly with the Project Manager and the management team to develop and implement an effective site-specific EHS plan, while adhering to all corporate, divisional, and regional EHS programs and processes.
Assists Project Managers and EHS Managers/Specialists in the coordination of subcontractor EHS protocols, including vendors and owner personnel working on company project(s). Coordinates project EHS programs with subcontractors. Assists in planning and coordinating work to eliminate hazards, minimize risks, and aggressively manage losses involving injuries or property damages.
Coordinates quarterly comprehensive on-site EHS audits. Periodically inspects and evaluates the project site, equipment and processes for compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations, as well as company and owner policies and procedures.
Conducts accident investigations and completes incident reporting for Project Management review.
Accompanies injured employees to treatment and medical evaluation. Ensures all EHS protocols are followed.
Advises Project Management on Industrial Hygiene protocols; performs Environmental Monitoring.
Manages Company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, ensuring proper testing for Pre-Employment, Vehicle Authorization, Reasonable Suspicion, Post-Accident, Random, and Follow-Up.
Provides training and education to Company personnel regarding EHS requirements, including coordination of new hire EHS orientation programs.
Administers the corporate SPAT process on assigned projects.
Completes and provides a weekly EHS update to EHS Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction EHS field
Excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time
Knowledge of regulations and standards as well as hazard recognition and injury management skills
