Job Overview:
USSOCOM has a requirement to conduct Realistic Military Training (RMT) combat scenarios in various locations throughout the United States, utilizing simulated and blank fire training aides. USSOCOM requires specific individuals and resources to act as enemy Opposition Forces (OPFOR) and provide realistic enemy responses.
Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assistant Site Manager (ASM)
Assistant Site Managers shall act as the lead role player manager for each training site.
ASMs shall be responsible for ensuring all role players on site are properly trained and briefed for each evolution.
ASMs shall be responsible for ensuring that all role players on site are capable and proficient in safe small arms simulated employment during role play.
ASMs shall be liaison between LRSO and role players at each training site.
The ASM shall be directly responsible for the management of all contractor firearms, safety gear, wardrobe items, and any other contractor equipment at each site.
The ASM shall not participate in or observe training events unless specifically directed by the site LRSO.
The ASM shall be responsible for contracted role player travel and arrival time scheduling in accordance with the LRSO provided schedule.
The ASM shall be responsible for all contracted personnel on site, and the safeguarding of all government information provided to the contractor.
The ASM shall be responsible for ensuring that no photographs or video recordings are taken of mission personnel or training being conducted by the contractor or contracted role players. Shall be responsible for ensuring that no cell phones or cameras are with contracted personnel during role play training evolutions.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements/Education:
Shall possess documented operational experience working directly with U.S. Special Operation Forces (SOF) - or -execution of a minimum of four (4) contracts, providing support services for 45 or more role players.
Shall possess documented experience as a U.S. SOF Close Quarter Combat (CQC) RSO with a thorough understanding of safety controls implemented for role player use during training scenarios.
Shall be knowledgeable and proficient in small arms handling and simulated firing safety.
Physical condition - Shall be able to climb ten (10) flights of stairs and manage role players during iteration training for up to eight (8) hours per day.

Experience within the light/heavy industrial sector highly desired.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
The selected candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills and will be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

Position Overview
QinetiQ US is seeking a Site Manager to support the Program Management Office (PMO) that manages the DHS Customs & Border Protection Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) program. The TARS program leverages aerostat systems to provide persistent surveillance and detection capabilities, to the U.S. Government customer across eight (8) different operational sites.
The successful candidate will serve as the overall site manager for multiple operational sites that are geographically dispersed along the U.S. border and have direct TARS, TASS or PSS-T experience as a current site support person, or prior program support. They will work with the multiple on-site flight directors to coordinated installation repair and improvement projects with operational maintenance and repair timelines. They will report to TARS Program Director and Program Management Office for long term planning of site activities, and with the on-site personnel for daily execution. They must be willing to travel to individual sites as needed. Specific responsibilities include:

* Obtains training and certification as flight director.
* Manages all aspects of facility site maintenance, logistics and scheduling.
* Supports the on-shift Flight Director during Launch and Recovery operations as needed.
* Serves as the function manager for all required maintenance that does not impact flight operations.
* Works with on-site logisticians and PMO procurement to track, deliver and receive all deliveries for each site.
* Responsible for establishing and managing all Government Furnished Material inventories, tool closet inventories, and repair parts inventory.

Assists the Site Manager in supervising and coordinating the construction of water treatment systems. Supports the Site Manager in monitoring on-site activities to ensure that quality, schedule, and safety requirements set by the client and Kurita are consistently met. Reviews construction drawings and schedules, and collaborates with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize the project timeline. Prepares work schedules, maintains construction records, and generates reports to identify and resolve issues, ensuring effective site management.
Responsibilities
* Plans and coordinates site facilities, safety and health equipment, and temporary installations in compliance with U.S. regulations, client requirements, and site rules; assists the Site Manager in implementing these measures.
* Assists in developing and coordinating delivery plans for SKID units, equipment, and components based on architectural drawings, plant layouts, and site survey results.
* Prior to and during construction, share and resolve issues related to the work with partner companies to ensure smooth progress, taking all necessary measures.
* Regularly review site conditions against the project schedule and actively coordinate progress with contractors and partner companies. In case of delays, discuss recovery plans with contractors to maintain the schedule.
* Manage construction in accordance with company standards as work progresses, ensuring proper documentation. Collect and consolidate construction records from contractors.
* Monitors construction status using P&ID and piping drawings, records progress, and verifies that installations meet design and material specifications, reporting discrepancies to the Site Manager.
* Attends construction management meetings with clients and contractors, communicates requirements and concerns to the Site Manager, and helps incorporate them into site activities.
* Work Location: On-site at the project office, 5 days per week.
* Travel: Approximately 25% of travel required to project sites outside Arizona.

Qualifications
* Experience supervising construction for water treatment systems, industrial facilities, or large-scale water supply and sanitary piping projects, or similar types of work.
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* 5 or more years of relevant on-site supervision experience in construction projects.

Gray Construction is looking to add an Assistant Site Manager, MEP to their Field Operations Team. This is a field/project based position.

Studies specifications to assist planning procedures for construction on the basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule. Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate. Individual poses the ability to assist in coordination/management of all trades throughout build process.
Solicit prices from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for review and approval by MEP Project Managers. (This will be based on a list of subs and vendors established by the MEP Project Manager and MEP Site Manager at the beginning of project.)
Assist in selection of qualified bidders and negotiate final prices.
Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase orders for MEP Project Manger's review and approval.
Assist in the preparation of various reports, i.e. cost to complete, monthly billings and status reports.
Review all drawings, i.e. P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural, etc. when they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a current set at all times.
Assist in pricing work, draft changes and change orders to be reviewed by MEP Project Manager.
Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
Schedule work, including subcontractors.
Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.
Secure appropriate supply sources.
Set up and close out construction site.
Serve as on-site Safety Officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project. And also, will be required to participate in the company's safety portion of the QMS program.
Responsible for procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
Individual will consult with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.
Prepares or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports and/or direction from MEP Project Manager.
Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company, industry standard, and job specifications.
Will insure the company QMS program is used and maintained in accordance to company standards. Individual will be able to generate reports and traceability for continuous improvement.
Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray's safety program on site.
Other duties may be assigned.
Overtime may be required.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.

This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases outside of the U.S.. The selected candidate can live anywhere in the USA, but would be required to travel to the project site per Gray's travel policy.

The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will manage multiple subordinate team members. Responsibilities include training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Indirectly manages subcontractors, consultants, and general laborers.
