JOB TITLE: Site Supervisor DEPARTMENT: Delivery REPORTS TO: Construction Director Coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and Project Managers, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Your leadership skills and extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise and train workers and trades people Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Ensure work by sub-trades is completed as per signed drawings and according to code Perform light carpentry and/or other related duties as directed by management Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. QUALIFICATIONS: Design & Build Experience Building codes Health & Safety Codes Construction planning, estimating, budgeting and forecasting Commercial awareness Commercial interior office fitouts COMPETENCIES: Influencing Others: Persuasive and engaging and can build buy-in from key people.
