***JOB SUMMARY:***
The Family Birth Center (FBC) Supervisor has responsibility and accountability to assist with oversight of daily departmental clinical operations; patient advocacy/safety and satisfaction, staff education, regulatory compliance, core measures, and staff scheduling. The Family Birth Center Supervisor assists the Chief Nursing Officer and Family Birth Center Medical Director in providing departmental leadership and assuring smooth day-to-day department operations.

* **6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm- 7:15am**

***ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:***
- Supports and models behaviors consistent with Livingston HealthCare's Standards of Excellence.
- Assists with providing leadership and motivation to Family Birth Center (FBC) staff, works to optimize workflows, and improve satisfaction for patients, physicians, nurses, and techs.
- Supports the Family Birth Center with clinical expertise by providing input and support with the maintenance and development of evidence-based guidelines, procedures, policies and required reporting.
- Works with FBC Medical Director and FBC Coordinator to facilitate educational training, quarterly drills, and other education opportunities to ensure best practices are being utilized.
- Oversees staff scheduling.
- Assists with staff rounding and employee engagement activities.
- Assists with Clarity reports in follow-up and opportunities for education and improvement.
- Assists with the yearly employee evaluation process, gathering input from other staff and providers.
- Provides efficient communication and feedback to nursing and tech staff.
- Assists with chart reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Addresses patient complaints in a timely manner and assists the Chief Nursing Officer with service recovery and any patient and family experience concerns.
- Participates in departmental projects and performance improvement initiatives.
- Develops proficient working knowledge of Cerner and assists in training clinical staff assuring consistency, compliance, and evolution of new workflows within the EHR (Cerner).
- Maintains and displays an appropriate degree of clinical expertise. Acts as a resource for providers, other medical staff, patients, and families.
- Assists with interviewing, onboarding, training, and development of new staff.
- Maintains standards for Baby Friendly Designation.
- Oversight of Prenatal Classes.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department and organization.
- Contributes to the Family Birth Center Committee agenda and action items as appropriate.
- Bases decisions and actions on ethical principles and fosters a non-discriminatory, positive climate in which are is delivered in a manner sensitive to sociocultural diversity.

- Attends all staff meetings and relevant organizational meetings unless prior excused.
- Attends all mandatory in-service classes.
- Completes all annual related educational competencies.
***QUALIFICATIONS (Required):***
- Current Montana RN license.
- Five years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to remain calm and work collaboratively in stressful situations.
- Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development.
- Skills and knowledge to sustain and evaluate clinical competence in caring for the specific age and type of patient populations served.
- Current BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS, S.T.A.B.L.E, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- CLC certification within one year of hire.

* Serve as a direct supervisor for a team of individual developmental therapists (SLP, OT, PT, MT), overseeing the daily operations of the site DT team
* Addresses real-time DT operational issues, which may include making modifications to the physical space, procuring appropriate equipment and materials, optimizing room assignments, managing performance issues, addressing staff and patient cancellations, and other duties as needed
* Work in collaboration with the site leadership team (ABA site manager, Site Medical Director, Area Operations Manager) to ensure outstanding experiences at the site for team members, parents, and patients alike
* Maintain daily on-site leadership presence, covering a majority of the clinic's daily operating hours
* Maintain a weekly productivity expectation, which will be reduced based on the number of direct reports you have. Billable expectations include: completing your discipline specific developmental therapy evaluations, treatments, and/or participation in comprehensive CIMs
* Complete all DT documentation requirements within the expected Cortica timeframe
* Manage the DT team productivity/daily operational scheduling needs, documentation efficiency, capacity utilization, wait list management, DT hiring needs, and overall clinical quality and outcomes, in collaboration with the DT Manager
* Lead, mentor and develop all members of the team across all clinical matters; ensuring consistency and integrity of the Cortica Care Model through team and individual meetings, and direct support in sessions as needed
* Assist in ensuring outstanding experiences at the site for team members, parents and patients alike
* Conduct annual performance reviews for team members, and collaborate with DT Manager on merit recommendations
* Manage time-off requests and work closely with scheduling to maximize coverage/scheduling needs; this may require stepping in for coverage as needed

At Helena Public schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a full-time (8 hours per day) 12-month per year SACC Site Manager you contribute to this mission by providing supervision and assistance to students K-5. You will work as part of a team of 45 staf members serving 125 students at 10 Elementary School programs across Helena. Specifc elementary school is to be determined.
Some of what you will do:
Responsible for the management and supervision of an after school child care facility and the day-to-day planning of the facility activities,
Supervises students after school and during outside play,
Plan and supervise day to day progam activities according to program model and in conjuction with instructors at the site,
Interact with parents to keep them informed, answer questions and concerns,
Maintain a safe and orderly enviornment,
Assist in maintaining appropriate program documentation,
Work period is normally Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
To become part of this dedicated team, you need:
Associates degree or equivalent;
Two years experience as a licensed and/or registered group or family day care provider or day care center staff person;
One to two years related experience and/or training;
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the District.

Under the direction of the Division Manager, supervises, monitors, trains and works with the Division's seasonal employees in the field in the suppression of noxious weeds and control of vector and nuisance mosquito species; Reviews and works with seasonal employees on all inspection and application records prior to submittal; Participates in the identification and control of noxious weeds using Integrated Weed Management (IWM) principles; Participates in the identification and control of vector and nuisance mosquito species using Integrated Mosquito Management (IMM) principles; Operates automatic and standard transmission vehicles, four wheel drive vehicles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs); Operates spray equipment mounted to trucks and ATVs, motor driven sprayers, ultra-low volume (ULV) sprayers, backpack blowers and sprayers and handheld pesticide application equipment; Participates in and ensures the safe practice of mixing and applying weed control herbicides and mosquito control pesticides; Practices accurate and complete record keeping of all inspections and chemical applications to ensure compliance with chemical label specifications and Division policies; Maximizes use of geographical positioning systems (GPS) equipment and computer programs to improve efficiency and management of operations, with good basic computer and GPS knowledge and skills; Keeps Division Manager informed of personnel issues regarding Division's seasonal employees and Division's vehicle/equipment maintenance needs; Makes recommendations for improvement and under the direction of the Division Manager implements programs, standards, procedures and schedules; Provides input for the establishment of training programs to alleviate deficiencies and increase mechanical skill and conducts those trainings as needed; Creates and maintains a high performance environment characterized by positive leadership and work ethic and strong team orientation; Assists the Division Manager in evaluating performance of seasonal personnel; Maintains an organized, safe and healthy work environment in vehicles, chemical building, and work sites, ensuring strict compliance with all safety, security, cleanliness, environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations; Practices and encourages work place safety and adheres to State and Federal regulations; Assists in developing plans and schedules to meet unexpected situations and new developments; Attends training meetings and maintains a current Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) pesticide application license including the Mosquito Abatement and Weed Right-of-Way categories; Performs other related duties and required or assigned.

Detect and identify noxious weeds; Determine appropriate procedure for noxious weed and mosquito control; Operate specialized chemical application equipment; Traverse a wide range of physical conditions, including but not limited to, walking long distances, steep and challenging terrain, muddy, wet and slippery footing.
