    Site supervisor job in Las Vegas, NV

    Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Custodial Site Supervisor (CSS) is responsible for the quality of onsite team member performance ensuring all team members complete duties according to contacts scope of work requirements. This person is a working supervisor and will provide manual labor required by the contract as well as job coaching and supervision for the team members in order to develop skills necessary to prepare them for future employment opportunities, and to achieve the goals established in their vocational plans. The Custodial Site Supervisor will work closely with the Case Manager to ensure successful placement employment opportunities as desired by the person served. Qualifications ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize appropriate methods for working with individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities. Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law . Some travel to a variety of locations in the Las Vegas area. Must be able to meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel: Between worksite locations Within the community Conduct daily team huddles to solicit feedback, answer questions, and communicate relevant information to custodial team members. Provide managers with information regarding team member performance. Read service and habilitation plans for all individuals served in the program to assure each individual is receiving their proper care according to their plan(s). Ensure proper documentation is completed such as ID notes, schedules, incident reports and corrective actions. Ensure equipment is clean and functioning. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Anticipate safety needs for all team members and report any and all issues or concerns to department managers as soon as possible. Comply with all Federal, State (Desert Regional Center) and local regulations and requirements, and company policies and procedures. Attend Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings. Maintain a good working relationship with contract representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and contract retention. Assist in the manual labor associated with the specific contract duties and responsibilities. Assist the vocational training team in the development of vocational training plans for team members, and will ensure that these plans are implemented on a day-to-day basis. Train team members in required cleaning techniques, new methods and procedures, and equipment use and care. Order supplies and maintains inventory of all assigned equipment and supplies. Adhere to Opportunity Village's established policies and procedures. May be assigned other duties as needed SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises: Custodian Community Training Specialist Floor Care Custodian Restroom Attendant Parking Lot Attendant Laundry Aide Custodial Aide SKILLS REQUIRED Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, team members, and supervisors (verbal and written). Must posses social perceptiveness to asses and understand other's reactions and behaviors. Ability to resolve multiple complex issues simultaneously while remaining calm in stressful situations. Ability to accept and apply performance-based feedback. Ability to conduct tasks and successfully perform under critical deadlines. Knowledge of custodial operations and building maintenance and procedures. Excellent customer service skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year verifiable work experience as a supervisor in the custodial field. Required: Current CPI certification within 30 days of employment. Required: Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements. Required: Current CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment. Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
